Yet, when an hourglass appeared before her, Aria found herself returning to the past with all her knowledge and hatred intact. And she set forth to be the villainess in truth. And maybe this is where this story differs from so many where someone without having experienced the factors that shape a villainess in a transmigration type novel become the villainess but become kind. Aria had undergone such horrible trauma that as the reader you cheered her on in her plots. So if you are looking for a real villainess story where you still like them and wish them well, this is the one to read.
Practiced Liar
Miura: College student and loner, Miura may wear a public smile but his ability to read minds has left him distrustful of people. Being able to hear their true feelings vs what they say has caused him problems in the past, but when he meets the quiet Abe, he is surprised at his honesty. Abe: Quiet college student. When Abe first saw the slender Miura he was instantly attracted. So when they both joined a reading circle Abe was thrilled to be able to meet his senpai and his thoughts as the two spent time together were sweetly honest and full of the stirrings of interest. The relationship that developed between these gentle guys was the type to tug at the heartstrings. They communicated well and were accepting of each other. I also really loved Abe’s surprising protective nature and how he encouraged Miura that it’s ok to be a little selfish at times.
My Groom Is Yama
Completed Opinion: Sadly annoying, some good ideas poorly executed, unsatisfying overall. Main couple: 4/10 FL: 2/10: Beth. The woman born to bad luck. Pure Yang energy. Reincarnated. The perpetual damsel in distress. ML: 4/10 -Yama. Ruthless and powerful but at the same time got some pretty huge weaknesses and flaws. Bit of a rapist creep but he isn’t human so.. idk. Protective of Beth, or is he? Story/Concept: I liked the concept of being the bride of Yama and getting revenge on those who sacrificed her and treated her and her parents so horridly but yeah, that just didn’t really happen. This was an annoying series of FL actions and choices where she kept putting herself in dangerous situations that required the ML to rescue her, call her honey and smite her foes while clasping her in his arms as he manfully said (nearly each and every time), “nobody harms my wife”. Sure, she helped him a couple of times, suddenly able to wield a sword like a boss, but it was just a flat attempt to give her some strength of character that felt very out of character. My main issues (other than the above & including spoilers) were that she hated Yama at first but it just took a couple of “not my woman” moments to have her all over him, there were loads of other powerful characters but no real explanation of who they were, their relationship to Yama or Beth, or why they were allies or enemies. Yama was always using her but had a “revelation” at the end that had him understand (wish I did) and he left her only to return after years at the end (didn’t actually see him btw) with no reason of what he did, if it mattered, where they would go, were they together now, why he went, what happened to the other woman (I could go on). Having a baby was meant to kill her but suddenly we see the kid and her no problems. In short, this story was immaturely written and full of flaws. Tropes: Shoujo. Reincarnation. Powered enemies. Yin & Yang. Demons. Damsel in distress. Deception and lies. Ending: Happy? Many, MANY unanswered plot questions. Art: Nice, but sometimes faces looked a bit weird and inconsistent. Smut: None. Ogus's Law
Some stories manage to go beyond what you hope for and deliver something truly special and memorable. I simply adored this manhua (available on WebComics). There were so many feelings evoked and such beautiful artwork, it had me unable to put it down. Dark moments, heartache, angst, joy, friendship, character chemistry, and ofc love that defies the odds. For me, this is definitely highly recommended. Su Yuan was from a poor family. To release the heavy burden for his family, he accidentally got permitted into the Ogus Academy. However, he found out that the school was established to protect demons. As a weak human who wanted to survive, he must find a demon to be his pal. Because of Su Yuan’s unique scent, he attracted many wooers who wanted to be his pal as well as all sorts of attacks. Until one day, he saved a fox covered in blood, and revealed a big secret...

CW: Rape. Caution as this is hardcore uncensored smut as the villain gets a taste of his own medicine (pretty much literally). No romance or soft feelings but the art is pristine and the smut well executed. Sphynx is a brand new villain who specializes in technology and science, constantly wreaking havoc around the city. Thankfully, Defender, the city's superhero, is always there to foil his villainous plans. Defeated and eager for revenge, Sphynx infiltrates a research facility and discovers Defender's weakness-only to find out it is completely something else that unlocks Defender's secret abilities.
Hetare Maou to Tsundere Yuusha
Completed story Cute little story of Prince Ike’s sojourn to make a name for himself and become a hero. Any good human would believe that a personal quest to take out the demon king would be a worthy quest, but Noah, Demon King of Mano is not that easy to kill. Firstly, his guards knock Ike out. Then the Demon King takes him in to care for his recovery. Even worse when Ike wakes and persists in his plan, the Demon King proves too elusive to even touch. But it’s all over for Ike when he falls for the gentle gardener king who treats him like he is precious. This was a surprisingly fluffy story about love in unexpected places and I loved how even the scariest monsters had a reasonable side.
