Sleeps In Sunbeams's manga / #Seme x Seme(3)

It’s a battle of wills between 2 very alpha doctors to see who will come out on top. This was a good story and it was fun watching the MCs realise there were more important things than taking the lead, such as admitting their feelings

Popular Shirogane is a high school boy who suffers from extreme sensitivity to odours. When he discovered that the prickly Tokuro had a soothing aroma, he latched on to him and inserted himself in his life. However, Tokuro was gay and misunderstood Shirogane’s motives. This feisty pair battled their way through misunderstandings, the constant intrusion of a younger sibling, and the quest to be on top (both seme). Tbh, despite the title being about a smell fetish, the main plot driver between these MCs was the battle of “insertion”. It was chaos but it was an enjoyable read.

A spin off from Ijiwaru Shinai de Dakishimete and Mr Arihara’s Secret, this collection of short stories is full of familiar faces. I really enjoyed the stories about desensitising to touch (related to past trauma) and trusting enough to be loved (main story) and the idol (Hiro from anDe) x guitarist. The seme x seme wasn’t my favourite but it was still nice to see that couple progress their relationship.
