This had some lovely angst from the past and a reincarnation angle that really seemed fated. So much so, with the past connection, finding each other again and loving each other so much, it makes no sense that they aren’t fated mates. What more does it take than a dying promise to find you again, dreaming about you your whole life, finding you and falling madly in love to be a FM? Crazy.. Other than that, I loved this.

Trigger Warning: Rape themes (not by seme) Soushi Yakuno is a 38yo former delinquent who runs a bar. His newest hire is Shota, the child of an old friend that he used to babysit. Shota has always adored Soushi, even when he was a child. Now as a University student with some freedom from his rich family, he wants to be a delinquent just like the man he has idolised for as long as he can remember. Only now Soushi seems like a geezer more concerned with clients and balancing the books than mentoring a new badass in the making. This adorable story follows the naive Shota as he falls for the ‘not quite’ former delinquent Soushi in a very adult way.

I love the artists style of drawing characters. This vampire story is one I have read the novel version of, so for me it was lovely to see a manga version. It really condensed key elements well enough to be enjoyable in its own right.
