Sleeps In Sunbeams's manga / #Pregnant(3)

A sweet and fluffy style story where a crown prince comes to claim his daughter and the woman who left him heartbroken a year and a half ago. There are misunderstandings to overcome and seemingly insurmountable obstacles to manage. All can be achieved if there is honesty between this pair but that's the hard part. The story was an easy read and focused on the romance between the MCs. The baby was cute (though the fact she was born 10 months after leaving the prince was a bit of a worry lol) and the brothers who were introduced apparently have their own stories that will follow some of the extra issues with the cousin and the inheritance of the kingdom.

Poor Marley went through a lot of crap (so much that the stress of dealing with it caused her to lose her memory). Told she was just a mistress, judged without any consideration for even asking her side of the story, kidnapped and abandoned. Ah yes, better not forget that she was pregnant. All of that yet so quick to forgive… can we spell doormat? I liked the story but she needed a bit more backbone to be a FL I could enjoy.

The only person that can save Sister Eleanor Lewis, seriously injured and held hostage, is emergency consultant Rory Hunter! Rory’s the father of Eleanor’s baby, only he doesn’t know it, and he has to rescue them both before time runs out… I really enjoyed this story. Eleanor (23yo) was a likeable FL who grew a lot as a character in her time working the busy ER. The story did a great job capturing the moments of intense demands on staff, including the sorrow when a life can’t be saved. Rory (35yo) was a great ML, he was hard to fault really. I loved the epilogue, it’s great to see a FL work to get it all in life and have that HEA with a good guy.
