Honoka na Koi no Danpen wo
A selection of intertwined stories based around 'heavenly' Japanese swords imbued with spirits. There is a rape scene (not done by the love interest).
Jappa No Amane
The story was confusing at times. I think it was because some of the characters lacked adequate introduction or explanation as to what they were and others had too much repetitive detail. Apart from these inconsistencies and the times the pacing was too fast, the concept was interesting and the story was overall fun to read.
Soryanaize Darling
College student Maiko Ninomiya (age 20) is about to have her life turn on its head when she becomes involved with the handsome novelist and professor, Yukiya Nagase. It turns out that he is the gently smiling visitor in her erotic dreams, only are his smiles for her? I thought the story was cute and it was really interesting with the time jumps and the pivotal events that happened on and after Maiko’s accident saving a dog. The FL was feisty but also vulnerable and even insecure at times. I liked the ending, it was not something I would have predicted in the beginning and it was sweet.
Yami ni Tooboe, Mune ni Toge
Narito was a loner for most of his life. Misfortune seemed to befall those who became involved with him so when an older man named Koma glomped onto him calling him Master he was quick to try get some distance. However, Koma was a Dog Demon bound to Narito’s soul and having finally found him in his current reincarnation he wasn’t going anywhere. I liked the story, especially when the siblings also became part of Narito’s life. He won’t be alone anymore, that’s for sure.
