Sugar Code
So cute! Natsume Isaku is a master of characters that don’t fit stereotypes or have quirks and/or idiosyncrasies that make them stand out in your memories. The seme in this story is both ruthlessly efficient and dangerous as well as a rumpled, scruffy homesbody. Totally adorable and fun to read.
Heart no Kakurega
Such a warm hearted story, I totally loved this group of friends, they had a sweet, accepting kind of family feeling happening. It made me want to pack up and move in too. With the two intertwined stories, I fell in love with Izumi and Haruto way more than Momo and Jin. They were so open and expressive; the way Haruto’s face lit up when he saw Izumi, and Izumi’s tears when Haruto broke the cuteness threshold..SO KAWAII!
Tight Rope
These childhood friends are adorable!! Now I gotta find the anime The manga also contains a sequel to Doushiyoumo Nai Keredo that is great if you want more of those two.
Free Punch
Two fantastic stories with two diametrically different ukes and semes. The first story had a tsundere uke who kept his college peers and roommates at a distance with cold mockery and sarcastic wit, the second featured a mujaki uke who was relentlessly cheerful, sparkly and seemingly naive. In both stories, there was more to the uke than met the eye. No more spoilers, just enjoy for yourself this great Natsume Isaku manga!
Amai Kaori Ga Surun Desu
Short yet sweet, I loved all the adoring glances and blushing.
Ouji-sama no Ryuu
A cute story with 2 guys from very different walks of life. It was unexpectedly interesting to read that the Prince was the one who felt the pangs of insecurity enough to take advantage of a situation and test his lovers feelings for him. Given the power imbalance between these 2, it was good to see that both needed words of love and commitment and that they developed better communication skills in expressing their needs.
