A Tiny Bit of Cotton Candy
It’s only 3 chapters but they are so good. Sungjin and Yohan both have a dark side but with each other they are happy in that fated love kind of way. It’s the sort of story that would be awesome to see fleshed out some more, but for a quick break, it’s perfect.
Park Hanhoo's Manager
There’s a reason that this is so highly rated, and that’s simply because it’s marvellous. Set in a fictitious country that gave the author a lot of freedom with mixing the criminal, business and political worlds, this story had an intriguing plot and great characters. With the kind Chansol, haunted by a devastating past and the dangerously unpredictable Park Hanhoo, a man whose only weakness was Chansol. Simply put, this was *chef’s kiss
Dial Again
Trigger Warning: Rape (not seme MC) The story of a remarkable orphan boy with ruby red eyes who grew to adulthood with a unique ability; to not die. Noah ended up being approached by a CEO of a mob business to be his bullet shield only once Allen Lewton realised that his new employee felt pain, he changed. Soon the ruthless CEO showed his determination to make Noah fall for him because he was head over heels in love with the red eyed Noah. The story was interesting and the mystery around Noah’s forgotten past was intriguing. Certainly Noah was a very likeable character and had a truly kind heart and I appreciated how protective Allen was of him (sadly not protective enough with respect to a certain someone ).
Tell Me You Can Hear It
An adorably fluffy high school BL with the serious senior Do-kwon, and the popular school prince, Ryeo-soo. Do-kwon is senior class President with a reputation for excellent grades. But he has a secret weakness for good looking people. When he has to deliver something to the most beautiful boy in school, Do-kwon’s efforts to appear unruffled were ruined by his determinably set face and stern demeanour. Those and his ecstatic thoughts that were in a whirlwind of delight at being so close to Ryeo-soo. Ecstatic thoughts that. Ryeo-soo could read and which amused and intrigued him enough to pursue a friendship with Do-kwon. So begins a feel good romance between these guys that was really entertaining.
Hello Again (Cho Bom)
Short and sweet. HeeMin has always liked his neighbour and older brothers friend, SeonWoo. But dealing with SeonWoo’s infatuation with his perfect older brother had HeeMin struggling with jealousy. Now a college student, HeeMin is set to share an apartment with SeonWoo and all his old feelings are still strong. But how does SeonWoo feel about him? And what about his brother?
When The Cicadas Stop Crying Webtoon
A sweet age gap story about unrequited love and looking in a new direction. With MCs Namwoo (teacher, older, unrequited love with best friend since childhood) and Yeoreum (new PE teacher, young, puppy like, muscled) it’s going to take a few seasons to blossom their new, awkward friendship (on Namwoo’s side) into love.
Crash Into Me
Trigger Warning: Rape I liked the story. Stressed and overworked, salaryman Seung-chan is going crazy from his neighbours incessant night time noisy sex. But when he first meets the enigmatic Hyesung things change. Unable to resist the battered and vulnerable beauty, Seung-chan falls hard and fast. The story is sweet with such a nurturing protector of a seme, but is Hyesung too self destructive to see himself as worthy of love? Good thing that Seung-chan is persistent.
Dragon's First Crush
I thoroughly enjoyed this fantasy story of princes, dragons, magic school, and magic users. With the tall, friendly Lou and the more serious Prince Ian becoming unlikely friends and falling in love, this story was really hard to put down. I loved the puppy like dragon. He was adorable in the extra stories as a baby, and endearing as a young adult venturing out into the world. I also appreciated that he was still a dangerous dragon if anyone threatened those he loved. Really, just a sweetly romantic read. Recommended!
Minority
A really beautiful story. Model student, quiet and studious, Jin Hyuk was not one to stand out or make waves at school. When he accidentally witnessed class bad boy, Im Heechan getting beaten up by his drunk father one evening, he turned away determined not to get involved. But this incident was something that brought these polar opposites awkwardly together and a surprising secret friendship started between them. Their story is told in reminiscence style from both POV and it’s so sweet and genuine.
