An enjoyable read in an interesting world.

I loved this, the main story was great with the very cute snake shapeshifter who had a whole lot more going on than having fangs. Snake families have a very different dynamic than a warm blooded shapeshifter would be expected to have. It was a good thing the mom was human with a softer side because the dad only shared his softer side with his wife. The only downside for me was that the story was a translation of a translation so there were numerous grammatical errors that probably compounded earlier mistakes in the storyline.

It’s a sweet story of a friendship rekindled between a young man and the protective house spirit who is bound to forest areas.
