Too good to be this short

Doesn’t live up to the synopsis

These short stories are definitely worth a read. They are all quite different from each other but the art style is nice with bold lines and dark shadows for a more dramatic style than many mangaka. The stories range from the mythical to the symbolic to a host and a gardener. I loved the story of the mountain and the wind, and the host x gardener the most.

Quirky and fun stories that have some stretches of the imagination that cross the threshold of believability but that’s part of their charm. The ninja bodyguard was a little odd like that. I really loved Masanari’s loyalty and devotion though, he was like a giant puppy and a bit of a goofball, but he was strong and protective and took his role very seriously (indeed ha had a hands on approach for many problems that arose lol). I also thought the Massaging Monkey was funny, but those characters stil had a fair way to go to be in a proper relationship.

It’s Beauty and the Beast, Yaoi style. I love the Fairytale and this was cute, but really it could have been a bit longer.

An oddball story full of unexpected chaos and fun. Really cute and fun

A powerful vampire who seeks fun and entertainment. A cursed, dark magic wielding knight. These two clash together with an assassination attempt that quickly turns to desire and sets the uke free. The art was pleasing and the chemistry between MCs was pretty hot. The pacing was too fast though, and there is no real feeling (for me) of an emotional connection. Part of the story was uncensored, then it ended with fully censored scenes which was annoying. What irritated me most though was the scanlation teams blasted watermark peering out from every skin surface in the second half of the story. Seriously..don’t do that. It sucked.

The ending was so sudden; this story feels like it has so much more to give as the MCs seem on the brink of realising their feelings for each other. However, it ends on a sweet note filled with the promise of a future together so I won’t be too dejected here. I loved the concept, and the hints the reader has of their shared past as you wonder what would have happened if they came together then? I just want one or two more chapters and this would be an all time favourite.

This was a ton of silly, smutty fun with members of an Evil Corporation battling magical little girls while trying to meet their daily quotas. The 2 MCs were adorable. The creative Akaya with his obsession for his touch sensitive section boss Kuro were a fun pair with their special collection rooms and tentacles.The secondary characters were also fun, yet disturbingly twisted. A recommended read.
