A fantasy yaoi! I wish there were many more of them. I loved the story and the beautiful artwork; the story is really reminiscent of Persephone and the Greek God of the Underworld, Hades (one of my favourites in romanticised versions). I would be interested in reading the translated versions of the novel if they get done) because the sample here was great and because I would be interested in reading about the other kings and their loves too.

A great story with a devoted seme and a rather unlovable uke. I enjoyed the fantasy elements but found Sousuke difficult to warm up to, so 4 stars from me.

Fantasy, yaoi romantic BL. This was a treasure of a story hidden under ‘adult, yaoi’ tags. It needs to be promoted better, I was just lucky it was in a recommended read. Totally loved this adorable story.

Cute little one shot, fast paced. Would be nice to see the concept extended to a few chapters at least. Has a sequel, Ichido Dake no Uta.

I didn’t like the doctors choice in how to deal with wanting his demon, but as the stories progressed then intermingled it became easier to look past. It’s not a good world for mixed relationships, there are plenty of obstacles to overcome, but it is really lovely overall.

Death, penance, reincarnations; this story was an intricate weave of love and loss and second chances that was strangely enjoyable. This is no easy journey to love, but the connections are strong enough to be seen as inevitable soul bonding.

Nice, fun story.
