Two beautiful hosts, a cute lost dog and a grandma who is a bit of a matchmaker. These all mix together for a great story that had some darker themes (like date rape drugs and loss) but an overall sweetness that was adorable. There is some dubious consent in helping the drugged uke get through the effects of the date rape drug, but his words to alleviate stress and the fact he didn’t administer the drug made his actions seem to come from a good place rather than selfish lust, and it did not bother me.

Short but cute, doesnt go past the dream state so it really needs more chapters.

A really great bunch of one shots, often told with a dash of humour. These were worth a read and probably another read down the track.

All worth a read, but lots of dubious consent between MCs takes some of the shine off these stories. Add to that there was often an abusive seme paired with a victim..Er naive uke and stories like that never give me a HEA vibe. More like a HFN until the uke grows up some more and develops a sense of self worth.

I loved this, the main story was great with the very cute snake shapeshifter who had a whole lot more going on than having fangs. Snake families have a very different dynamic than a warm blooded shapeshifter would be expected to have. It was a good thing the mom was human with a softer side because the dad only shared his softer side with his wife. The only downside for me was that the story was a translation of a translation so there were numerous grammatical errors that probably compounded earlier mistakes in the storyline.

Nothing amazing, but these were mostly enjoyable. They all progressed pretty quickly; the first kiss was shortly followed by sex. My main peeve was that many of the uke’s were the type to forgive being used or ignored.

Sensei was a bit of a pushover for his more aggressive student. I may have liked the story more if he held firm on putting his students studies first, but this was probably just a bare bones plot to hang some smut onto really.

What followed was a psychological game that had me feeling uncomfortable for Aoki. Tengoku was the kind of lover to obliterate boundaries. He was very sexually experienced and savoured the fun he got from Aoki’s helplessness as he uncovered Aoki’s masochist nature and his own sadism answered. Tengoku was difficult for me to like for many chapters. But as the story progressed his own intense need for Aoki started to reveal his vulnerabilities too. It’s probably safe to say he is some sort of sociopath based on his actions throughout the years, but the bond he unwittingly forms with Aoki is actually pretty intense and even sweet in its way. Turns out he was more naive than you would think, at least when it comes to love.
