Surprisingly good stories. From brothers to toy kinks, a hitch hiking stranger to a ghost, these were all rather unconventional tales that were entertaining and worth a read.

Interesting. Short stories or one shots, none of them had a completed feeling but more a ‘you know where this is headed’ style.

Some cute short stories all bundled together for those times you don’t want to get bogged down in anything too demanding. Definitely some original concepts that were fun (eg 30 year old virgins get odd wizard powers).

Trigger Warning: Incest between demon siblings A pretty impressive doujinshi with demon brothers Rin and Yukio part of a breeding plan. However, Yukio won’t let his family be used. I really wish this went for multiple chapters.

Brothers Minoru (26yo) and Yutaka (16yo) have been apart for the 10 years it took for Minoru to graduate from university and get settled in a job. In that time the siblings shared letters and fond memories of a close bond. When Minoru returns home with his new job the brothers notice the changes in each other but their affection is heartwarming. Over the summer break they each become aware that their love is more than just brothers and both struggle with how to deal with that. Their story is really beautiful, set over the lazy heat of summer where you can almost hear the cicadas and smell sun warmed hair. I loved how the mangaka managed to infuse innocence and a pure love into what is essentially a taboo theme.

If You Love An Arrogant Flower: Eldest son of a prestigious house, Kazuma reacts to being unfavourably compared to his youngest brother Ibuki most of his life by living down to their expectations. The only person he loved and was caring toward was the illegitimate young son of his father and his father’s mistress. However, Koutaru rejected his arrogant pursuit, leaving him vulnerable to his younger brother Ibuki. This was a rather twisted story of obsessive love between siblings and the lengths a determined man will go to, in order to keep an arrogant sibling for himself. I liked it, though it’s not for everyone as Kazuma was challenging to like at times. Lonely Butler: A simple boy runs from the abuse of home to starve on the streets. A lonely young master saves him and brings him home to be his butler, his friend, and more. But an accident separates them and lies keep them apart. This story follows the “loyal dog Jeremy” and his young master Luke and their second chance. It’s a mix of sweetness (with loveable characters) and sadness (with events keeping them apart) and a cute story overall

Content Warning: Incest themes (brother x brother) The only story that I really liked in this was Admonition From An Elder Brother (chapters 1 & 6). In this story, Tsuzuki (22yo) was a womanising delinquent thug who provided protection for his friends prostitutes. He hadn’t seen his older brother Hajime (now 34yo) in over 10 years when they suddenly crossed paths. Hajime wants to put Tsuzuki back on the straight and narrow path, but the younger sibling is resistant at first. Events arise that force some cooperation from Tsuzuki and the brothers relationship gets surprisingly close. I enjoyed the loyalty and devotion that was reestablished between siblings, and that it was between guys who were tough in every aspect of their lives, except for the hint of vulnerability with family.

Trigger warning: Incest (brother x brother) Hideyomi (Omi, 18yo) and Hideyuki (Nini, 16yo) Togame are brothers who live in their own quiet world sans parents. The older Omi had suffered an accident that left him comatose for months and then a changed person with some retrograde amnesia and a more childlike mind. The relationship between the siblings was both complex and very simple. Their closeness was forbidden but their love and dedication towards each other was really sweet. Add in a good friend for Yuki and a cousin who was his doctor and you have the main characters for this lovely yet often melancholy story. I really enjoyed it.

Two good stories with some beautiful artwork. Immoral Love: Touya has loved his brother for years, secretly desiring his nii-san since he hit puberty and had his first sexual experience watching Naoto masturbate. He is hurt and hopeless when he realises Naoto is in love with their dad but when their father finds a new partner everything falls apart. There was a lot of emotion in this story. Both siblings were the type to put the one they loved first and make personal sacrifices to see them happy. Their relationship together took time because Naoto needed that to realise the love he had for the dad and his brother were completely different, just not in the way he expected. Love Moratorium: Kisaragi Rei was a famous AV actor. Dodging from some fans one day he hid in the arms of a tall man who seemed familiar. Sasake Manabu remembered Rei and wasn’t about to let the cheerful man slip through his fingers. His outrageous proposal would make sure of that.

Trigger Warning: Incest (Brother x Brother) Multiple stories that were all enjoyable for different reasons. The main story had the best character development and it was sweet how some of the loneliness of being a neglected child of a narcissistic mother was addressed with a caring partner. The second story had some unexpected twists that caught me by surprise and I found the whole inability to get an erection was interesting especially given the feelings between the MCs. There was something sweet about the yearning to catch Yoshida’s shadow. The third story of the two brothers was just too short to do justice to such a subject, but it was still a good read. Wtf was up with that cat though? It was like the reincarnated form of some manly old pervert. The last story was a sequel and was great for the switching roles. Be sure to read the main story first.
