Kiraide Isasete
This beautiful story dealt respectfully with a traumatic event perpetrated by filthy, entitled scum and didn’t shy from the emotional wounds left on the victim. That being said, this was a story of true love and kind people, with an alpha who adores and protects his omega, a vulnerable omega with a lot of love to give, and adorable little children to melt your heart. Such a sweet story, you will be wanting to read it again and again.
Sayonara Alpha
Definitely one of my favourite Omegaverse. Chika and Haruka’s story of a fated pair meeting too early was so beautiful. The connection and devotion between the two was beyond sweet and the heart breaking decision of putting the welfare of the other first had me shedding a few tears. I have to thank the mangaka for her beautiful talent at story telling and art, this story hit me right in the feels.
Kashikomarimashita, Destiny
This was an epic story that followed 2 couples. The relationships and friendships between the MCs were so close that it felt like one amazing saga. The first couple were Aoi (omega, former heir to Toujou house) and Jirou (alpha, heir to the Saionji house) who are in a soulbond together. The second couple were Miyauchi (beta, butler to Aoi, traumatic history, challenges destiny) and Kudou (alpha, head butler to Saionji house, looks like a criminal but very kind), and in their story Miyauchi is unwilling to commit to a real relationship because he thinks Kudou will one day meet his fated mate and toss him aside. The stories have the characters from each liberally involved in both stories, giving this a rich feeling that suits being presented in a single volume. It’s definitely a recommended read.
Ou-sama to Puppy Love
Hello adorably fluffy Omegaverse story! Hardworking omega Souichirou is determined to have a career focused life and to avoid romance. Focused on becoming a politician, this beautiful germophobe is happy with his structured life. Until an unexpected heat, an unexpected man, and a whole life changing series of events showed him just how wonderful his life could be. This manga was romantic, beautifully illustrated and full of fun moments. Just wonderful
Omega wa Pink no Yume wo Miru
This Omegaverse story started with a selfish alpha boss (Chief Utsumi) who wanted his untouchable omega secretary to fall for him and become his lover. Purchasing a secret potion designed to make an omega fall in love with an alpha, Utsumi spiked the drink (albeit with a twinge of conscience) and waited for the opportune moment. However, in a quirk of fate and right in front of his eyes, the spiked bottle was consumed by the plain and taciturn beta Suzuki. Disappointed, Utsumi was resigned to missing his opportunity (as the potion only worked on omegas), at least until he noticed an irresistible scent as he entered the showers.. From there, Utsumi is on the roller coaster of guilt and attraction as he starts to fall for the wary Suzuki; a man who has already been terribly mistreated by alphas in the past. I enjoyed watching Utsumi gain understanding for just how much of a scum he had been as he became twisted around Suzuki’s little finger. He needed to be a man of principal and protect his partner as well as being loving and reliable to have Suzuki even consider becoming mates. I loved the way Suzuki didn’t just roll over for Utsumi after sex and sorries and I thought their love was really sweet. It’s always great to see a selfish MC grow in character to be a better person. It made for believable romance.
Boku no Omega yo Samenaide
Trigger warning: Dubious consent Kindergarten sensei Ao was a rare breed, 10% omega and 90% beta. He lives as a full beta in the community with the help of suppressants and values his independence, especially when he compares his lifestyle to his twin omega siblings mated pairing with an alpha. When Ao met the homeless Reiji on the way home one evening, he was surprised that an alpha can be such a drifter. But Reiji was alpha enough to scent the omega in Ao, and he wilfully sexually dominated the omega, to the point that Ao’s omega traits strengthened and he demanded more from the alpha. The rest of the story was about the MCs falling in love. Reiji has to learn to not take Ao for granted and to value him for all his traits, and Ao needed to accept his own heart and true nature. I think the story would have benefited from extra chapters, but I liked that Ao kicked Reiji to the curb for not respecting the parts of his life he valued. A strong omega is something I really enjoy. Also, beautiful artwork!
Unmei no Tsugai ga Omae da Nante
Salarymen Shishikura and Kotani have been bitter rivals since middle school. Well..at least Kotani has since the loud and excitable Shishikura had forgotten all about it. But, rivalry renewed, an early heat had Shishikura looking toward Kotani with hopeful, heated eyes. Even in bed, these guys are making demands and bossing each other. Only, now they are moving to being rivals who are astoundingly compatible. And it seems no matter how much they try to avoid and antagonise each other, they end up being thrown together and back between the sheets. It’s going to take some time for these two to realise the many things they admire about each other, that they may be more than rivals.
Takane no Hana wa Chirasaretai
I really enjoyed this Omegaverse story. Renjaku-san is an arrogant alpha who owns a flower design store. His aura of cool aloofness is enhanced by his tall, well dressed elegance and never smiling face, his stylish clothing and his beautiful face. Everything about this imposing alpha who loves sweet drinks is secretly adored by Hana, the kind and gentle looking alpha who serves Renjaku his daily coffee at the busy cafe adjacent to the flower studio. When Hana has an unexpected heat cycle (revealing his omega status) he turns to Renjaku for the sexual help that will help him manage the driving biological urges. This manga follows Hana and Renjaku as they traverse the tricky path to love after that unplanned intimacy. I liked many things about Hana, from the way he tried so hard to hide his serious crushing on Renjaku (like his little scent nest of pilfered trophies) but at the same time was so sweetly obvious (lol like the stolen underwear or blabbing when half asleep and outing his imagined plans). I liked Renjaku for his open and blunt honesty for Hana to not get his hopes up, and the way he would bring Hana back to Earth by doing things like pinching his nose or bonking his head. I thought Renjaku’s backstory was disturbing with respect to the first omega he knew and explained a lot why he preferred to keep an emotional distance. But the persistent Hana was too irresistible and appealed to the protective kindness hidden under Renjaku’s stern face. So often he raced to the rescue, chiding Hana if he put himself in danger but also holding him close. I thought Renjaku needed that mix of cuteness and cluelessness that Hana had, along with Hana’s obvious love and persistent pursuit. As a couple they worked well. Last comment is for the art. Stunning, amazing, and hot. The story was uncensored, Renjaku was pure alpha even in the art and I loved the eyes on both MCs. Really great to see such talent.
Totsugimasen Kara!
An Omegaverse story that was wholesome and sweet. Itsuki (omega, bubbly and energetic personality, brave and friendly) was sent to compete to be the bride of the young master to the house of a wealthy pharmaceutical businessman. But his first encounter with Jin (alpha, young and a little stuck up but kind hearted underneath, training to take on heavy responsibilities) was fiery and the 2 started a toe to toe fiery argument that inspired Itsuki to ‘win’ Jin just to kick him to the curb. Their bickering became friendly over time (both boys very sweet) and the rest of this fluff filled piece was full of friendship, rivalry with some other competitors and a burgeoning romance. It’s a young reader style story with hints of an omega’s heat and it’s complications, but the MCs didn’t even kiss. Very loveable characters though, and full of fun.
