Also he met MC when younger when she saved him from drowning when he went to visit his real family but his father pushed him into the pond - which is prob why he fell for MC now. When MC is kidnapped and almost raped by fiance, her family finally cut ties with fiance's family. However fiance also regains memory of past life and now realises he was in love with MC afterall, and wants to get back with her. ML now wins best actor and proposes to MC. ending seems abrupt, no resolution on fiance outcome. Overall not too bad, readable, despite MC being super sketchy taking in ML to just use him as her loyal dog, but they end up sweet in the end.

Ch149 - tbh kinda wanna drop but so far MC and ML are pretty decent, most annoying is the in fighting courtyard drama. Tired of women scheming MC is a special effects make up artist who transmigrates into body of concubine daughter who is a retard and has birthmark. Her mother seems to have died protecting her from her fiancé the prince, but also seems to be a scheme of MC’s family (prime minister). MC uses her “ugly” looks to get prince to break the engagement, her birthmark is a fake one possibly done by her mom who left behind a box of prosthetics. Lots on in fighting among her half sisters, kinda tiresome tbh. ML is Prince Eadgar, who seems to know her mother and takes interest in mc and needs the lifelike puppets she made. MC now in palace to participate in flower gathering where she needs to show her talent, she wearing a veil to pretend to have ringworm schemed by the first wife.

ch80 (seemed dropped at ch80 in raws - theres a novel w same name that is complete at 2100 chapters lol) typical plot and characters. MC is daughter of military family, falls in love with her grandfather's adopted son, but they find out that he's actually his biological son, however MC is actually an adopted daughter because her grandfather was afraid her mom couldn't take it when her child died in labour so replaced the dead baby with MC. MC ends up pregnant, but because didn't know about her own adopted status, she decides to run away from ML because she didn't want her child to grow up as a product of incest (her grandpa died, ML inherited part of the shares and now officially known to public as her uncle). MC gives birth to twins, give one to ML to raise and takes care of the other one herself. Now ML managed to track her down and they take a DNA test to check if they are really related.
