MC pretends to be female character on game, where he scams expensive items from guys he's dating, his latest target is ML (chaebol, also his uni classmate), who when finds out his identity (due to MC making him knit a scarf as a prank, then he finds it in MC's bag), forces MC to be his "girlfriend" for 3 months otherwise he will reveal that info. MC has a phobia of being the centre of gossip because in high school MC was ostracised due to rumours he abused his girlfriend, so agrees. In the process they fall in love, ah i love that instead of rejecting the ML outright because he's scared, he confess to ML that he is scared and so the relationship will be difficult, but agrees to date if the ML can accept that. <3 I love mutual relationships and strong MCs. Both MC and ML are likeable, although ML can be the typical overbearing jealous type, but he's also cute and blushes and is sweet towards MC. MC can be a little too nice, but he's not weak, he knows how to stand up for himself when needed. After they get together, MC's high school friend returns, he actually was behind the rumours surrounding MC because he wanted mc to rely only on him, he blackmails ML to break up with MC as he has pics of them kissing, later on MC secretly looks through his phone and found out about the matter, he meets up with his ex gf and hears the truth from her, cuts ties with asshole friend, gets back together with ML 2nd season: MC gets scouted by the developer of the online game he plays, he goes intern at their company, whereas ML becomes head of the VR development of his father's company and collaborates with the game company where MC's working. MC becomes the GM that has an ingame male character. MC gets invited by game developer to go to US to study for 2 years under Wizard game company, ML tries to stop him by offering him a job at his company or supporting him financially, MC gets angry and rejects him, they eventually come to terms with it, MC leaves for 2 years. When he's back, he join's game developer's new company. He gets married to ML's game character with his GM male character (new update allowing same sex marriage he requested to the company before he left). HE No melodrama, easy to read, smooth sailing mostly.

ch100 MC (Medea) is the villainess whose engagement got broken, she switches body with the FL (Psyche), a sheltered noble who had been confined to her estate until her debut. FL's life isnt as golden as it looks, her freedom constant restricted and the prince actually plans to kill her, he's only keeping her by his side to obtain her divine power (FL can heal and wither) FL's mom actually hid her away as a child to protect her, but ML found out about her divine power when she ran away as a child and used her power on criminals. MC's life isnt as great as FL thought it was, she admires MC for being strong and having freedom to do what she wants, but actually MC has been under high pressure from her family to be the best, her intelligence used by her father to obtain fame for himself, they only see her as a tool to be used by the family. MC foils the prince's plan to kill FL by killing the assassins he sent after her. In the meantime, FL tries her best to live her life as MC, foiling her father's plan to marry her off to the King of neighbouring country by jumping from balcony and breaking her leg. FL and MC managed to switch back to their own bodies after FL finds out about her "withering" powers - seems like when FL's life is in danger they switch back. FL "breaks up" with ML as she is finally disillusioned when ML has admitted he didnt love FL when FL was in MC's body. Meanwhile, there's been the word of god interpreted by the Cardinal saying that the person closest to the king will cause the downfall of the empire. MC uses that rumour to frame herself as the person who will cause the downfall - this is a plan to reveal her family's crimes in child trafficking and other offences - MC will be the whistleblower and wash clean her name, she partners up with the cardinal (red head) to use his good reputation. She sends the cardinal to her brother to obtain further evidence of the crimes. FL breaks up with the prince, but agrees to continue their relationship for 100 days - the prince sends an assassin after her, but this coincides with MC being poisoned by her father (MC planned for this by inciting his suspicions that she was going to kill him) - she switches body with FL - MC kills the assassin and FL cures the poison. MC's past with her brother is revealed, her brother always wanted to escape the burden and abuse of his family and assumed MC wanted the same, but afterwards realised she wanted to fight head on and not escape, not hide her brilliance and be married off. However he was horrified by the corruption and wicked deeds of the family so ran off. mc's father and his associates were executed for their crimes and mc becomes head of the family. the prince increase his popularity by improving the relationship with a neighbouring kingdom by giving them back the bones of the previous king (but its actually bones of a homeless man). on the day the cardinal is meant to ascend to power, the prince causes the wall to collapse killing hundreds of people, FL escapes her guards to go save them. the prince and mc have a confrontation where he admits to causing the wall to collapse.

ch151 4.5 stars https://mixedmanga.com/manga/miss-not-so-sidekick/ hilarious but too many filler chapters that are kinda lame/not funny. Still enjoyed reading it tho LOL. MC is kinda silly, ML is super good looking/pretty (he's the extremely OP magician 3rd ML in the novel). The FL is kinda sketchy sometimes, but nothing obvious yet. now: MC refuse to coorperate w Lady peridot (main antagonist), so peridot schemes to kill her by swapping out her teleport scrolls to teleport her to forest of death. ML had put a tracker on her doll and notices her predicament so goes save her. he traps peridot in a world where she relieves her death at the hands of a beast over and over again - he also ruins the house of peridot by exposing their crimes. mc seems to have accepted that she's not in a novel, and also her feelings for ml! Backstory of how ML started noticing both MC and FL, but realises that he actually enjoys MC's company and can't bear for her to be hurt, whereas he notices FL for no good reason except tht she gave a gold coin to a beggar child - but ML was a beggar child before and knows that its actually a death sentence for a child as ppl would just steal it from him. He soon becomes annoyed with iberlin constantly appearing in front of him and only refrains from killing her because she's MC's friend. Kenneth looks for MC to consult her, he can't touch iberlin (FL) anymore, MC told him it must mean he stopped loving FL. ML declares MC to be mistress of tower, gives her doll Cookie teleport powers to the arcane tower, gives her a ring that can cast powerful fireball spells, and they have their first kiss!!! kyaaa! he sends a marriage proposal the next day. FL's thoughts are now revealed - growing up under the protagonist halo, she was universally loved, so actually has mentality of spoilt child - she is "kind" because she has no reason to hate anyone and people will always rescue her from the trouble she creates. When MC "snatches" the love of Arwin from FL, like a spoilt child who lost a toy she hates MC now. MC and arwin get married. HE

ch13.2 ahhhh loved it. mc is a "corporate slave" who gets accidentally summoned together with a high school girl who is the saint who can purify the miasma plaguing the country. he requests for a job and gets hired by the palace accounting department. MC is a workaholic at the expense of his own health, he starts taking potions to help with his fatigue and end up overdosing, the ML (captain of the 3rd knight division) passes by and heals him with magic, however mc has no resistance against magic due to being from another world, hence he suffers from magic intoxication, the only cure is bodily contact, and due to the high grade magic used, they end up having sex. MC changes the culture of the accounting department that was like the laundry department who approved all expenditures, mc doesn't try to fight corruption, but he starts rejecting unclear expense reports. when the accounting dept is accused of not managing the finances appropriately and possible embezzlement due to the lack of funds for the expedition to purify the miasma, mc prepares an expense report of all the expenditures of each dept, highlighting that the lack of funds is due to their extravagance, this causes the prime minister kamil to take interest in him and appoints him to the vice manager of the acc dept. now; mc is attacked

LOVE. esp love how the artist includes the little chibi side characters/minions in the background, SO CUTE. no harem, no fanservice. he does have one female subordinate who worships him but it's barely played into much. mc is a "dungeon baby" ie a human that was born in the labyrinths/gyser, they possess superhuman strength and powers. humanity was at war with Gyser but then they "won" the war and Gyser released all the humans back to the surface. (spoiler: later on revealed it was because the monsters realised humans born in the deeper levels were blessed with powers from gyser, they were afraid humans would gain too much power hence decided to send them back to surface). Gyser consists of 12 levels (as far as we know now) and monsters get more powerful the deeper you go (and also they will get level penalty if they leave their level ie become weaker), each level has multiple labyrinths with "owners" who can spawn monsters by using dawn gems (can mine from the rocks or get when killing monster). mc was born in the 12th level, grew up a slave to the labyrinth owner, he leaves the dungeon when the war ends, and gets adopted by a family. dungeon babies are usually obsessed with the labyrinth and often go back (only to the top few levels), but mc stays away most of his life, until he accepts a job in order to make money for his adopted sister's wedding. during this, he got selected to be the new owner of the Naga Labyrinth. He initially accepts to make more down gems but when he gains subordinates he feels responsible to protect them hence works hard to upgrade the labyrinth and summon more guards/soldiers. One of them is a Hero Class Naga Maid Dominique who is basically MC's right hand woman. mc also joins some dungeon baby mercenary group to learn more about the dungeon as he has been away from many years, the leader know hes lvl 12 but keeps secret for him, also learns about the dungeon association set up by the country who is regulating hunters, reduced death toll by 50% but the leader seems arrogant. MC's labyrinth is attacked by a neighbouring Labyrinth owner, the Scaly Dragon King. The Scaly dragon king sends a spy, an elf named Rikshasha, but she double crossed him after meeting mc. MC also defeats a subordinate of the scaly dragon king called Drakkan who is part dragon hence invulnerable hide except one weak spot that mc exploits (mc has ability to see weaknesses when fighting). mc also buys a parasite from the Black Merchant Group, which he ingests (it gives him more attack power and also enhance his ability to see weaknesses and can also detect down gems). mc wins the battle with the scaly dragon king (he almost dies but the dungeon upgrade completed and restored him to full health). he then forms an alliance with the the Gluttony labyrinth (the owner Useo is basically a zainv who hates leaving her house and only wants to eat lol, she's a super cute chibi). he also becomes a aristrocrat aka a Baron - the merchants delivered the ring to him, not sure who decides who is an aristocrat, but the ring grants him dominance power over others but it can be resisted of course. mc attends the auction of the black merchants where he purchases a dungeon baby to protect her, due to her being non-responsive he decides to keep her in the labyrinth first until she can socialise- she later on becomes the owner of another labyrinth by accident, this labyrinth is special in that it is combat weak but have lots of support skills like Battle fever that boosts attack in expense of defence, and illusion skill that make people trapped in dream. he also got basically forced to buy a vampire (the vampire insisted on being his slave so mc purchased her for 1 dawn gem.. turns out she was the slave of Anatolius from lvl 11 who somehow freed her cause he was unable to supply her blood, she picked mc cause his blood is useful to her. now that the scaly dragon king is dead, the balance between the 9th floor labyrinths are broken, the Labyrinth of the Dead's owner, Valicius decides to attack, he sends a force to the Gluttony labyrinth where Useo meets him halfway, while mc ambushes Valicius. Valicius had used necromancy on the Rikshasha's family (she was an elven princess, but their labyrinth fell hence they became Fallen but her brother the prince and her guard and the court magician are super powerful), but through the use of the illusion/dream skill they managed to wake them up and they protect rikshasha and help mc defeat Valicus. As Valicus is undead, he cannot really die, mc gives him to the black merchant group instead, who interfere with Valicus' plan to transfer his soul to another undead body and rewrite the coordinates to a living body instead, Valicus wakes up in the body as Worker Naga in mc's labyrinth LOL - i am obsessed with his plot line ahahah super funny and i cant hate him anymore cause he's so chibi and cute. he volunteered to be in charge of the cemetery in order to absorb the energy there for his necromancy skills, but alas a pink worker naga falls for his "work ethic" and volunteers to help him much to his frustration LOL. i think mc might be on to him tho cause he did strongly goad him into making a chimera horse for mc's new Dullahan knight by insulting "Valicus" in front of him saying there was no way he can make a chimera horse. Anyway back to mc's story, mc forms alliance with the Hammer and Anvil labyrinth who consists of goblins (their owner is a dwarf tho, so their dungeon specialise in mining and making weapons to trade with the other floors). The other dungeon owners are wary of him but they learn of a potential invasion of lvl 9 by lvl 10 floor, hence was to form a temporary truce. mc learns the real reason from the merchants, basically cause anatolius (the vamp's former master) visited mc after he defeated the scaly dragon and became an aristocrat (he went and told mc to grow strong and be his pawn.. much to mc's anger bt he was too powerful so mc could not retaliate) so his enemies on lvl 10 assumed mc was sponsored by anatolius, they hate anatolius so they wanna attack mc. mc makes deal with merchants to smuggle him to lvl 10 so he can scout his enemies. mc goes to lvl 10 with identity as bodyguard for the merchant there, he soon finds out the other bodyguards are dungeon babies like him but they failed to escape hence they get called "Failures", mc opens portal to surface for them to show them what the surface looks like. the Failures are superhuman powerful despite looking like normal humans, this is because they learnt to tap into Mana, they offer to teach mc (for some reason the merchants wanted this to happen too?). when trying to activate mc's mana, they realise that mc already have open mana channels, meaning he must have used mana before, mc lost his memory when he was child so he dont rmb, they hypnotise him to recall the memory. Flashback plot: mc was born in the Sunken Sea (a human farm), he was then sold to the Spider Duke, where he meets humans from the surface for the first time. They were varied, emotional, warm and took care of him as in their eyes he was a child. Except there was one crazy journalist Kim Jinwoo who in desperation to survive started experimenting with Down Gems, he tried ingesting a small amount and gain powers but with the cost of ++ pain and damaging his body and ++ emotional. he titrates the dose by secretly mixing it in food and feeing other human slaves, killing a couple in the process, when mc comes, he finds out that mc can ingest large quantities without much side effects. the human-labyrinth war ends, humans promised freedom but instead they are used as meat shields in the war between two labyrinth owners in the 11th floor. the journalist lets everyone ingest small quantities of down gems to prepare, and each have one small down gem as suicide pills. most people die anyway, either by the monsters or by ingesting the pill for a last burst of powers to save others. in the end only mc and the journalist survive (the journalist basically throws everyone under the bus to survive under some delusional thought he is the protagonist), they are hunted by one of the team who fused with a monster, the journalist realised he will die but uses his skill to brainwash mc to survive while stuffing a high grade down gem into mc's open wound. normally mc would die from the pain but due to the brainwashing mc manages to survive, but has instructions to head to surface and kill everyone, forget all the bad memories, and take on the journalist's name as his own. during this, mc in real life goes berserk, acting on the commands the journalist gives him, luckily the leader of the bodyguards manage to make mc forget everything again, at the cost of his other eye (but he also has a parasite so can "see" down gems so can navigate to some extent). mc manages to sense mana by ingesting a small down gem. they continue to journey and visit King Horace who is super rich as his labyrinth is in a massive mine, he is super dumb but unkillable. in the meantime, the pink naga worker seems to be about to discover Valicus' secret.

79 loved it, super cute. towers started appearing on earth, random people get drawn into it and become Awakened ie gain magic/strength. mc jumps into a closing portal and accidentally gets transported into the 99th level of the tower. he plants some the fruits he had in his bag for survival, the tower administrator Aileen discovers his presence and makes him an awakened but his class is Farmer. Aileen is actually a black dragon, a species that governs the tower, but she has a problem with her dragonheart so she is stuck in the administrator's area, while her family the other black dragons seems to working to try and save her. mc's produce seem to have a beneficial effect on aileen's dragonheart. mc also meets Farmer Bunnies that help him look after his farm. Later on a travelling merchant Theo (cat) comes by to sell human items to mc (theo got scammed into thinking they are valuable), mc enlightens him and signs contract with Theo to be his distributor of his farming produce, he sells mc's produce to the humans who love mc's crops, initially because of the weight loss effect lol, but subsequent crops have important effects eg detoxifying leeks that neutralise poison. Mc also makes friends with a queen bee who pollinates his flowers and supplies him with honey, as well as the head of the territory, the grizzly bear and her cub. the neighbouring territories minotaurs land is barren due to overconsumption so they eat clay instead, mc supplies them with crops in return for tilling the land and helping make bricks for his house. theo acquires new bodyguards in form of the silver wolves who were affected by the famine and were forced to work for Greede - a money hungry landlord / boar who took advantage of the red ribbon kingdom plague of locusts and took over their territory and enslaved the bunnies. MC supplies the wolves with food so they can stop working for Greede who has monopoly over the agriculture industry. they also rescue a few bunnies with architecture, woodwork and artist talents who join mc's farm. the locusts start plaguing another floor (think it was again orchestrated by Greede), mc sells his produce the iron leeks that lure the locust to eat them but instead slices them apart to the head magician (hamster). meanwhile, theo sells sweet potato with 5hr flame resistance to the humans, this helps Han Taejoon (strongest warrior in SK) to defeat the flame boar and cure his flame curse that makes him burst into flames, the rest of the floor also regains vitality ie crops begin to grow. The SK hunter association protect mc's family from others who want to gain from mc. the western forrest corrupt ents start attacking mc's farm because they want to corrupt the Flaming Apple tree in mc's farm, mc launches an attack and set fire to the forrest (he can borrow apple tree's flame powers). now: aileen's dragonheart acted up because she consumed too many of farm produce that enhances magic, her Hardened dragon Heart talent could not contain the mana. mc saves her life by giving her new produce, cherry tomato flower royal jelly that enhances mana talents.
