v3c5 mc can see and cut strings of fate including the red string, ml is his client wanting to get rid of a stalker, he falls for mc. initially mc is resistant because he is fated to never have a red string, and his previous partners have all left him when their red string appears, however ml is persistent and eventually mc is won over. in v2, ml's red string of fate appears, mc hides it from ml as he doesn't want to cut the string, afraid that he will cause ml's unhappiness in the long term. however ml eventually figures out and gave mc an ultimatum, cut his red string or else.. (ml is bluffing here of course). mc finally thinks things through and realise that he want to keep hold of ml and have confidence in giving him happiness. v3: ml's parents come to visit, ml comes out to them when his mom tries to set him up on blind dates. now: ml's mother shows up unannounced to their apartment while ml is out

i enjoyed it and ml's crazy antics made me laugh. the mc is your fairly typical always helping people do the right thing slightly tsun, but at least there is a good reason why he is extremely selfless due to his childhood trauma. there is no good reason why ml is crazy lol hes just like that mystery aspect could be better tho.

3.5 star starts off not bad if a bit dubcon but near the end got a bit boring. i liked the ending where mc visited his grandma house and showed some character development
