He manages to find the son, but actually the father wanted him killed and to obtain successor ring (he had a new son from his maid, so don't need this son, also the son might not even be his own son). MC manages to persuade son to give up the ring, brings to back to duke, manages to avoid being silenced by showing his worth as a trustworthy but actually shady knight to duke and pledging alliance to him. Client gives him his soul fragment as thanks. Perfect clear. The company is shocked by his perfect clear. They raise his karma/bad luck in order to control him better, this results in his sis selling herself for money to pay off their debts. MC aims to get to level 10 in order to complete mission to pay off debt, in the meantime he starts new mission in order to borrow money from the company. arc3: MC is an assassin whose family got murdered, task to obtain revenge. Mc had to swallow his conscience to kill and torture enemies. Turns out his assassin mentor had arranged for soldiers to kill family to make him into the perfect assassin king - he also released the news so that host would have to fight for his life and forced to become the assassin king. MC cuts off his own arm instead to foil his plans and obtain the perfect revenge. Host gives him soul fragment as thanks. Perfect clear. MC pays off debt sis owes to host club, with cover story that he's running a sex toy manufacturing company lol. Arc4: MC is the head guard of a city whose lord abandoned, the city is surrounded by orcs and isolated, people are starving and the situation is hopeless. MC confiscates food from nobles to feed the people, raises morale of soldiers to fight. He uses the soul frag of knight to aid his battle. Merchants came to trade, MC attempts to rob them but foiled by a transmigrator Jennis, a dragon slayer- the dragon's death had disturbed the natural eco sys and thats why monsters are everywhere now. MC now pulled out of the world, as he almost reveals his status as a contractor, also his body was getting too tired to handle the load. MC finds out that if he reaches lvl 50 he can obtain potion to cure his mom. Also something about darma and karma, as well as how to hide his thoughts (although this is scheme by the company to reveal to him as always). MC back to AU, gains ability to see ppl with quests available (! sign above them), Jennis still suspicious of MC and even tortures him to get answers - the knight soul frag takes the torture in his place when it got too much. MC solves long term food prob by sending merchant using teleport scroll to buy more food to return in shortest time possible, solves unemployment prob by getting ppl to demolish buildings to create space for farm, and to build a moat. Jennis interrogates MC again attacks him when MC deduces that he had been mind controlled by dragon and thats why hates manipulative/eloquent people like MC. MC manages to win back trust by implying his secrets are due to worshiping the goddess hell, supported by shadow elf who also worships hell (MC shows assassin dark powers). They do a tower defence with help of dwarves to counter the orcs. Jennis kills the leader orc, leaves the city to seal the dragon power, but because of greedy lord the city will be destroyed, MC sent back in time to before battle, where he gets shadow elf to kill the lord. mission success. Arc5: MC is a merchant whose business and his father's business is destroyed by another merchant group, causing his father to commit suicide. MC joins a bandit ex-mercenary group to obtain his revenge.

ch54 dropped because very flat and uninspiring writing with bland 2D characters - plot is very bare bones, lots of unexplained things/time skips, MCs thoughts/motivation not explored, so hard to differentiate what's his real thoughts and what is just acting . also qidian uploads certain pages partially cut off, there's one page where its completely missing and replaced with a page from previous chapter -.- arc1: modern day. MC is protective friend of FL, she likes both him and the ML. MC is already w ML, but then ML loses memory, so MC has to build up favourability from scratch, ML regains memories, MC leaves when task complete. arc2: historical. MC is owner of pleasure house/information dealing, approaches ML (general) to help him decline king's betrothal via being lovers with him. FL actually reincarnated and is chasing ML. ML goes to war, king schemes for his death, so ML fakes his death and elopes with MC. arc3: MC is orphan who lives with his gf's family, she's only holding on to him as a backup plan. MC saves ML from being beat up, ends up working at his company, ML takes him on a business trip and schemes to fake his death and imprisons him in his house (for his protection because his uncle was still searching for him - of course he doesnt tell MC that), lets MC go in the end, his gf had already married with kid, ML ask for second chance - unable to calculate favourability rating but mission considered success. arc4: orc world, females look like males except they have a marking on their back. MC is a female orc rescued by the ML. FL is a transmigrated mixed blood girl. MC manages to get FL banished and raises favourability rating of all 3 MLs.

MC bumps his head and loses his memory, his system cat is delayed by another cat lol, so mc doesn't realise he has to complete his tasks, ML takes advantage of this and let him stay in his apartment, in return asked mc to crossdress and hug him. the system cat finds mc and lets him know about the tasks. the ML interrupts them and reveals he can read minds and offer to help them complete the tasks by having mc act as the heroine in drag (because ML has no desire of the heroine and only crossdressers). mc has S tendencies and worries he will become abusive as he takes pleasure in the painful expressions on others, hence he always tries to hide it and control himself. ml confess to mc making him confused but mc has regained his memories and prioritise his friends lives (seems like mc somehow caused his busload of schoolmates to die?) so need to finish all the tasks and move on to next mission world. mc follows ml to the summer camp where ml is supposed to confess to the fl. the fl reveals her childhood crush is.. mc?! who advised fl to become strong and now she is going the 'strong independent route'. mc disguise as fl to complete the confession and kiss scene with ml, once the plot completes he uses a cloth soaked in chloroform to make ml pass out and leaves the world. arc2: zombie apocalypse with ability users. mc is an ability user who is the city lord, ml is his subordinate who hasn't unlocked an ability yet. mc uses his mind control ability to force ml to bait a mutated zombie so they can capture the body back for research, then abandons the bitten ml. ml luckily awakens an omnipotent ability (aka he has lots and lots of abilities, so much that the book didnt describe them all - including his mind reading ability). ml meets the fl who rescued him, agrees to go back to mc as a spy in order to revenge and help fl return law and order/equality to humans. due to ml's mind reader ability, he soon finds out the truth, but pretends to not know, he turns into a young boy in order to spend time by mc's side, due to his resemblance to his previous self in arc 1, mc takes him in to spoil him to reduce the guilt in his heart. in the meantime fl continues to plot to bring mc down, however ml also realised she is a transmigrator as well, in the end it is revealed fl is one of mc's best friend irl, all 3 of them work together to white wash mc and also run the plot to the end. mc initially thought he had caused the bus accident and killed all of his classmates incl his other best friend (he had accidentally sent a basketball flying towards the front and the accident happened) but fl reveals to him that the true cause was the bus running over a large pothole and flipping over, hence relieving mc of his guilt to his classmates but also increased the guilt towards ml because he had used him. now: the cat system tells mc he will still die in 3mths as planned despite whitewashing, ml reads his mind and is furious
