A noblewoman tried to hit MC when she was a kid, ML exposes her abuse towards her kids while MC family demands repercussions from her from trying to hit MC, MC bargains away their salon where the stigma (place where aether gathers) - the new church was built there in the past, mc wants to stabilise their family's position by getting the land in advance, she also meets Terran (mystical giant whale that converts Terra into aether) who informs MC she has the power to convert Terra into aether through her singing. Another thing that changed was that due to her family wanting to preserve memories of MC due to their excessive love for her in this life, they invest in the company that invented cameras, MC ends up being their exclusive model so she becomes a mini celeb with advertisement pics of her everywhere. MC and ML team up to try and reduce the church's power via MC singing folk songs. She makes her debut at Lady Mon Erte's salon, where a famous pianist Harchen plays her accompaniment. in return, MC warns Lady mon erte about her cousins the Harchen family, ML also helps retaliate by leaking information about them to lady mon erte (because one of the Harchens harrassed and stalked mc and took covert pics of her). MC popularised folk songs which weakens the church's power, causing her to gain their enmity. The king is in cahoots with the church (he is the brother of the previous king, when he ascended the throne he promised to pass down the throne to his nephew aka ML who is the real successor, he wants to borrow the power of the church to legitimise his reign).

c158 MC gets pushed to death and transmigrates to another world as Raeliana, a noble lady poisoned to death by her fiance, a side character/plot device for the heroine Beatrice who investigates her death. She signs a contract with Duke Noah (ML) to pretend to be his fiance to break the engagement. Fiance is actually being threatened by the brother of a woman he toyed with and who tried to kill herself in front of him, in the struggle he accidentally stabs her. Seems like FL had met that brother and joined forces with him. Anyway, Fiance kidnaps MC but rescued by ML and both of them put to death. Seems like Raeliana had been dabbling with dark sorcery before her death, but the fortune teller (who had ties with the queen?) committed suicide. It might be the reason why MC's soul is not compatible with her body, leading to fainting spells. During a tournament, a terrorist blows up the square (originally he was caught before anything happens, but due to MC, various factors contributed to lax security and increased radical dissent), in the process of chasing after the terrorist, ML loses his arm in the suicide explosion, MC uses the protective charm the pope gave her to heal his arm, she also reveals her secret as a transmigrated soul, and confess her love <3 Now FL finally appears, she plotted for MC's death, seems to know that MC is not the real Raeliana, got the villainess/fiance of the king to give her a gem that was set to explode (MC was saved by the pope who wanted to take her in a disciple/asks her to call him grandpa), also blackmailed the villainess to poison MC but MC realised the plot, so FL sets the room on fire and locks MC in instead, of course ML finds her and rescues her. Seems like FL is actually Raeliana (mc's current body) possessing Beatrice's (the FL of the novel) body. mc wants to use the king wedding to trap fl but fl uses it to frame mc for murder instead, mc is protected by ml and the priest helps clear her name. fl ends up kidnapping mc and tries to kill her but ml saves her in time, mc shoots fl and kills her. the goddess visits mc and offers to send her back but mc refused. mc and ml end up marrying and having a daughter, the end. I really liked this, I like both leads, the ML can be overbearing but he respects the MC and is also affected by her /loses to her. I also like that MC actually like the ML, unlike some novels where ML takes liberties and the MC seem to hate it, MC comes across as embarrassed/shy instead.

ch67 MC is a surgeon who lost it all, rebirths into the past where he relives his life, aiming to become a rich dermatologist instead. I like that MC still had to study really hard in both high school and med school despite his past life experiences. Right now, his friend (bully in his past life)'s father (director of the hospital) is trying to sabo MC due to his brilliance overshadowing his son. Friend is a little psycho, seems like he killed his dogs and murdered his half brother staged as suicide. He's the illegitimate son, his half brother and father look down on him because of his filthy blood (and bro hates him cause his mother messed up their family). His father is trying to sabo MC because he's overshadowing his son. MC assigned to homeless cancer patient, MC does his best to care of him but hospital wants the patient gone due to mounting hospital bills, MC declares he will pay for the fees and refuses to discharge him (pt still dies in end), chairman tries to find trouble but MC didn't make any mistakes. in the mc got into surgery because asshole friend changed his application

ch56 - on hiatus ehh shallow plot and simplistic characters, lots of character development was glossed over.

MC pretends to be female character on game, where he scams expensive items from guys he's dating, his latest target is ML (chaebol, also his uni classmate), who when finds out his identity (due to MC making him knit a scarf as a prank, then he finds it in MC's bag), forces MC to be his "girlfriend" for 3 months otherwise he will reveal that info. MC has a phobia of being the centre of gossip because in high school MC was ostracised due to rumours he abused his girlfriend, so agrees. In the process they fall in love, ah i love that instead of rejecting the ML outright because he's scared, he confess to ML that he is scared and so the relationship will be difficult, but agrees to date if the ML can accept that. <3 I love mutual relationships and strong MCs. Both MC and ML are likeable, although ML can be the typical overbearing jealous type, but he's also cute and blushes and is sweet towards MC. MC can be a little too nice, but he's not weak, he knows how to stand up for himself when needed. After they get together, MC's high school friend returns, he actually was behind the rumours surrounding MC because he wanted mc to rely only on him, he blackmails ML to break up with MC as he has pics of them kissing, later on MC secretly looks through his phone and found out about the matter, he meets up with his ex gf and hears the truth from her, cuts ties with asshole friend, gets back together with ML 2nd season: MC gets scouted by the developer of the online game he plays, he goes intern at their company, whereas ML becomes head of the VR development of his father's company and collaborates with the game company where MC's working. MC becomes the GM that has an ingame male character. MC gets invited by game developer to go to US to study for 2 years under Wizard game company, ML tries to stop him by offering him a job at his company or supporting him financially, MC gets angry and rejects him, they eventually come to terms with it, MC leaves for 2 years. When he's back, he join's game developer's new company. He gets married to ML's game character with his GM male character (new update allowing same sex marriage he requested to the company before he left). HE No melodrama, easy to read, smooth sailing mostly.
