She disguises herself as a man and took part in the war. During her time in the army, her identity was discovered by the general and he makes a deal with her to take her as his woman so she can live a lavish life. But guy gets killed off and FL panics so when the generals family came, she told them that she was the dead guy’s woman/wife. FL gets brought back to the house and meet with her supposed father-in-law. A powerful and handsome man that control most of the military power making him second only to the emperor. ML takes a liking to the FL and probably already knew she was lying from the start. ML sleeps with FL and effectively becomes his woman. Some drama with the ML’s harem but that get resolved lightning fast lol. Anyway, as it turns out ML had seen FL long ago when she was in the army and knew he wanted to have her. The General(FL’s grandfather) told the ML to look after the FL on his deathbed. So after the war, ML sent people to go fetch the FL back. Anyway, they develop feelings, have very hawt seggy times and eventually got married. ML seems pretty devoted to the FL so yeah. Art is superb, scenes are hot, short and sweet read overall.
