I Raised the Beast Well
FL is an orphan who one day gets discovered as being one of the current emperor’s children due to a ring that the Emperor has left her late mother which FL tried to pawn off as a means of survival. FL is soon taken to the palace but unfortunately her good days don’t begin other than the fact that she is now living somewhat of a comfortable life. Her father does not care about her and her siblings don’t like her. However, good things don’t necessarily have to come in the form of humans right? FL picks up what she thinks is a black kitten which turned out to be ancient magical beast which even the royal family are afraid of. FL and the black kitten bond over time as he is the only companion and real friend that she has other than one of the FL’s maid. Unbeknownst to FL, the black kitten is actually a black panther which has the ability to shape shift into a human who is actually our ML of the story. ML is set to be the next chief of the tribe to his people. Finally some romance progression in the story up to date, MLNFL are grown up and FL is aware of her feelings for ML. ML is officially the chief of the beast tribe and continues an amiable relationship with the royal family. ML negotiated for a marriage between him and FL as a means to maintaining and establishing a peaceful union between the families/tribe. One my favourites, cannot wait for more because the interaction between FL and ML are just so god darn adorable

Kill the Villainess
https://azmanhwa.net/manga/kill-the-villainess-2/ A vastly different take on the usual isekai trope. FL was a normal girl who lived a rather lonely childhood due to her parents favouring her brother over her. One day, she woke up in the body of Eris, the villainess of a romance novel that lived a bitter life and ultimately gets killed. FL wants to go home and seeks tirelessly for a way back. In this world, magic exists and the laws of this world keeps FL’s soul tied to Eris’ body despite the numerous times FL tried to commit suicide thinking that by dying, she will be returned. FL comes to accept things but doesn’t give up on returning. But since FL is now stuck in this body and is now Eris, she decides to not be trampled upon any longer and suffer unnecessary indignities. FL plays the part of a villainess well, though she is only cold because of what she’s been though and doesn’t see it necessary to waste time feeling sympathy or pity for fictional characters in a novel. This story is different for the fact that it doesn’t take away the hardship that FL faces, FL is not op and doesn’t have everyone on her side, she is strong in how resilient she is and how she faces challenges head on, persevering though the sadness and despair she may feel on the inside. In this case, FL feels a lot more relatable and her independence shows, for she is alone in this world where she’s an outsider.
