Yeah so FL is a knight who snuck out one day under a disguise to attend a festival. At said Festival, FL meets an attractive man and ends up seducing and sleeping with him under the influence.
She wakes up and runs away only to find out later that she is pregnant with a mysterious man’s child.
FL panics after learning that the tyrannical Emperor is looking for a woman that ran away and she kind of puts two and two together to realise that the mysterious man that she had a one night stand with was actually the Emperor and she’s actually carrying the Emperor’s child.
FL slowly buy her time to figure out a plan to escape, thinking that the Emperor does not know that she is actually the woman that he is looking for. But ha ha jokes on her, the Emperor that she has been seeing in her dreams, who comes to visit her every night basically is actually the Emperor using his magic?
Eventually she bolts, managing to evade the tireless hunting for her, settling into a quiet town and gives birth to twins.
FL truly devoted her life to children and wishes to keep them safe. She also keeps her identity of what she used to be a secret for obvious reasons.
Ultimately, she gets found out anyway and the Emperor/ML gets her back.
I can’t really say that I support the ML in the story because he is pretty pushy and doesn’t really seem to respect the decision of FL. Like he acts kind of obsessed and just way too possessive of FL. I know they’re eventually going to end up together but it doesn’t mean that I have to support the relationship.
