Whole story left me feeling so fucked up. The main couple were so lost as individuals, two broken people cannot come together to become whole. That’s not how love works, that’s not what a healthy relationship is.
Out of all of this, I feel so damn bad for the step brother. I’m not grossed out by the fact that he caught feelings because he’s innocent, he’s inexperienced and meeting someone older who can open up to you and both feel comfortable with each other can be an incredible feeling that translates to love for someone who has no experience. Also, they’re unrelated so idk what the incest bs is about.
The main couple have so much to work on, INDIVIDUALLY. Putting them together and making them stay together despite all the insecurities, especially from the Seme and not to mention, the damn manipulation. Ffs, y’all really romanticise this shit?
A couple who have been together for so long, you’d think communication is worked out but that’s clearly not the case. The ending was such bs, cause it totally felt like the Uke knew subconsciously it wasn’t the right decision to stay in the relationship cause he hid his ring and all when he went to meet his family.
Word of advise, I know this story is realistic but we don’t read stories for realism most of the time, we’re here for the fantasy that we can’t experience in real life. Otherwise what’s the point?
Story left my stomach churning at the bitterness of the suffering parties, I really despise the Seme who has his own fking issues to work out.
Ending is absolute shit in my opinion so yeah, unless you want to be left feeling unresolved and frustrated, proceed.
