Sica Wolf Webtoon
Very cute story. No unnecessary angst or whatnot. Has elements of time travel towards the end. MC Sica has 2 types of magic in her, light and dark. Basically her mom was affected/exposed to dark creature magic when MC and her twin brother were still in the womb. Sica finds her twin, but unfortunately her twin is involved and directly responsible for the dark creatures being released. Twin tries to brainwash Sica but ultimate it doesn’t work. Karsus is also the swordsman that Sica keep referring to which is later revealed when Sica released her dark magic to save Karsus and time travelled back 10 years into the past by accident, when Karsus discovers that he was the swordsman Sica was looking for all these years. Back in the current time, Sica’s twin decides to enter the other side of the rift and stay there and so they part ways. Finale, Sica and Karsus got married and live a very happily ever after.
Taming the Lady
Dropped on 30th June 2021. Last read chapter 24. Started out alright but over time it just got so boring? Also for some reason the art style is getting on my nerves. Especially the faces. Anyway, I kinda detest the FL for her overly fangirl behaviour towards the ML who is a child and the FL is an isekai-ed woman who is so much older. Like it’s just so goddamn weird the more I think about it. Wasn’t this bothered but things change. Plot just gets so monotonous and boring after some time. It’s crazy how it’s only been 20+ chapters and I’ll losing my interest. Other stories are waaaaaay longer and I’m okay with it. This just shows how uninteresting and un-engaging this story truly is. Bleh.
The Youngest Princess
Irritating demon disguised as a human and a damn royalty on top of that. Fucking hell. Otherwise story is super cute and entertaining.
I'm the Ex-Girlfriend of a Soldier
FL gets reincarnated into a novel where she is the main female lead destined to have a happy ending with her knight boyfriend. But things aren’t quite as happy as they seem. Knight is a womaniser and FL decided to to break up with him to lead her own life. In this story the demon kind also exist and seems to be aware of the plot of the story and how it ends. In the original novel, the knight kills the demon king and lives happily ever after with the real FL. But in this new reality, the demon king decides to change his fate by chasing after the reincarnated(but he doesn’t know) FL. FL and the demon king gets married and are happy. Good times don’t last as knight is back believing that FL is bewitched by the demon king and intends to snatch her back.
Under the Oak Tree
A shoujo manga that isn’t isekai! So FL is the runt of the litter, black sheep of her family that got married off due to political reasons. FL and ML get into an arranged marriage and after spending their wedding night together ML leaves for war and doesn’t return till 3 years later. 3 years have passed and ML returns as a war hero. It is said the Emperor wishes for the ML to divorce and marry the Princess instead. However, things aren’t quite they seem as the ML returns and is full of love and affection for the FL. FL is confused as she believed that the ML does not even like her. So onwards is their story together, which isn’t very exciting right now (chapter 28). - apparently this coincides with the novel at chapter 80. Also according to spoilers, there’s a lot of angst and drama ahead from the looks of the novel. https://forum.novelupdates.com/threads/under-the-oak-tree.97759/page-39#post-6084974
I Became the Hero's Mom
Another shoujo isekai. FL was originally a normal girl who enjoys stanning biases, typical. One day truck-kun decides to rock her shit and she gets dropped into a novel called ‘Persona’ of which she stans the MC of the story. In the novel, she takes on the body of a supporting character but makes it her passion to stan the ML of the original novel who is currently a child. Misunderstandings happen and the ML’s father proposes marriage to the FL. All is good and well, lighthearted and cute moments until little things start to be suspicious. The originally thought good characters are slowly being revealed to have more sinister motives and FL finally realises that ‘Persona’ has a deeper meaning than just a title.
