Kill the Villainess
https://azmanhwa.net/manga/kill-the-villainess-2/ A vastly different take on the usual isekai trope. FL was a normal girl who lived a rather lonely childhood due to her parents favouring her brother over her. One day, she woke up in the body of Eris, the villainess of a romance novel that lived a bitter life and ultimately gets killed. FL wants to go home and seeks tirelessly for a way back. In this world, magic exists and the laws of this world keeps FL’s soul tied to Eris’ body despite the numerous times FL tried to commit suicide thinking that by dying, she will be returned. FL comes to accept things but doesn’t give up on returning. But since FL is now stuck in this body and is now Eris, she decides to not be trampled upon any longer and suffer unnecessary indignities. FL plays the part of a villainess well, though she is only cold because of what she’s been though and doesn’t see it necessary to waste time feeling sympathy or pity for fictional characters in a novel. This story is different for the fact that it doesn’t take away the hardship that FL faces, FL is not op and doesn’t have everyone on her side, she is strong in how resilient she is and how she faces challenges head on, persevering though the sadness and despair she may feel on the inside. In this case, FL feels a lot more relatable and her independence shows, for she is alone in this world where she’s an outsider.

The Duchess' Lewd Invitation
Last read: chapter 45 Not isekai. FL is trapped in a loveless political marriage with her husband and really wants to get out of it so she suggest for a divorce with her husband disagrees to. Instead, she decides to bargain for the right to have an affair. Her husband gives permission and so they both continue with their marriage for pretence sake. FL visit a brothel and request for a gigolo. Chance of having a lot of hot sex with a masked man with a big dick. Unbeknownst to her, it is actually her husband who is disguising himself as a gigolo to serve her. It’s pretty clear that he regrets giving her permission to find an affair and actually does have feelings for her which he does not admit to which is kind of why it soured their marriage to begin with. Her husband is obviously the ML. The sex is hot but the lack of communication is absolutely sending me. All of this could literally be avoided if her husband would have just been straightforward about his feelings towards her. Just another reason not to be married
Fiery Enemies
ML is super super lovable. He loves FL so much and it shows through all the things he does for her. No unnecessary angst or crazy stunts. Happy ending with them staying happily married for years to come with triplets
The Lady and Her Butler
Love on a more realistic and mature note. A good story with very realistic depictions, not overly flowery and too fairytale like. FL and ML both have their own issues but they break down each other’s walls over time and form deep love and understanding. Can relate so much to the FL for wanting to be independent due to her past family/parental traumas. But that’s what makes this story so satisfying perhaps when finally she opens up herself to ML and confesses her feelings. Truly this story talks about acceptance, opening up, forgiveness and the struggles of love and relationships. Although there were no major drama occurring every few chapters, it was nice to see realistic interactions between the FL and ML. The slight angst came during the ML’s feelings of inferiority. It was great to see the FL stay by ML’s side. They eventually got married and seem to be very happy in their new comfort.
I Gave Birth To A Murderer's Child
FL is the daughter of a noble household, with an abusive father who intends on selling her off to an ugly baron. In order to escape from her fate, FL sneaks out one night and ended up having a one night stand with a handsome stranger she finds in a dark alley. FL gets pregnant and bus is able to avoid the unwanted marriage to be ugly Baron. However, FL’s father is a cruel and abusive man who locks her up in the basement and has her live as a servant. Three years have passed, FL has given birth to a son whom she loves very much. FL’s father has received yet another marriage proposal with monetary benefits, essentially selling FL away. Thankfully, FL is reunited with ML. She is married to become his wife and remembers him from the night they shared together three years ago. ML does not seem to recognise FL but FL definitely knows who ML is. FL does tell her son that ML is his biological father but tells a white lie so the child is not spread the secret. Meanwhile ML has taken a liking to FL and treat her very well and is very caring to words her and her child. It turns out all this while, ML has been looking for FL over the years to no avail. Unbeknownst to him, the woman he is looking for is right beside him and it’s currently his wife. As of chapter 29 some external drama is happening, the detective that ML has set to discover the truth from three years ago is being brainwashed or a bought over by another noble woman who intends to use this opportunity to escape her unhappy/tragic life. As said before, FL is completely aware and remembers the night that she spent with ML three years ago which resulted in her being pregnant. The plot has yet to unfold so look forward to more drama as the other woman tries to interfere and dig a place for herself in between the FL and ML. Unrelated to story, extra comments, art style is alright but is not as pretty as other stories which makes its not as pleasing to look at over time. Also, plot is somewhat draggy and not as interesting/engaging. There’s been a lot of chapters but not a lot of movement in terms of what’s going on with the storyline at the moment.
