Raising a Bat
The Ugly Prince Manhua
Not worth reading imo, the ending was bad. I expected wayyy more.
May Belongs to Me
Tbh the story itself is interesting. I just love that May actually consented to most of Shin's actions. Plot twist was real tbh, May actually loved Shin before Shin loved May. May wanted to be with him ever since their childhood but he forgot and then remembered again. I just didn't like the illegal shit but at least they were happy together in the end. I wanted a bit more angst tbh, like what if May ran to Shin in the rain at the last chapter and asked Shin if he loves him and if he wanted to be with him before they started hugging and stuff. They still ended up with each other in the end though so everything's good, except for the fact that Shin did some super illegal shit ngl
Kiss the Bride
It wasn't that great to me. There were some drama and I feel like if they just communicated with each other better from the start they wouldn't have to feel hurt like that. They had a happy ending I guess. It wasn't a bad read, I would recommend it but I wouldn't reread this one again. Not my cup of tea
Obedient Heritage
Honestly....I really don't know what to say. Theres a lot of moments of rape/sa...from the psycho dude that was obsessed with Liu and from Jaeho too. Liu was just following orders from Jaeho, there were moments that he willingly accepted, but there are also some moments where he just does it because it's an order and not because he WANTS it. Ofc Jaeho's not actually that bad of a person. He's actually nice and caring towards Liu in the middle and end of the story. But at the start.....man..idk.....
Sugar Sugar Rune
This was my absolute childhood, I love this so much. I miss Robin so much he didn't have to go!! The things I would do to get the physical book copies. I personally prefer this ending to the anime ending. Though the anime ending was also nice, this ending had a different vibe to it and I just love it more. I would definitely reread this again and again, I would also recommend it to other people who love magical girls and boys.
Big Apple
This story was actually quite interesting, I'm not sure if it's something I would reread but it was definitely pretty good. I would recommend this if you like fighting/battle partner romance troupes. It also included dragons, espers and mages. It was more interesting than it looks though, a lot of stories that include dragons, mages and espers that I've read with romance included usually don't include using firearms so having Joachim be a sniper was quite amusing to me. I loved seeing Juergen's perspective at the epilogue chapters. It was interesting seeing him think that he wouldn't need Joachim at first when they met to how obsessed and how much he wanted Joachim more and more in the process of the plot.
I will be waiting for you in 1999
I cried reading this, and I would do it again. This is definitely something I would reread from time to time. It was so well drawn, so well written and just amazing in general. The emotions were portrayed very well and I just love this story so much. Please do give this a read, it brought me into tears tbh
Scent of a Witch
This story was interesting to say the least. I wouldn't reread it honestly, it was a one time read type of story to me. As for recommendation, I don't even know if I would recommend it honestly. Don't get me wrong, the story was, fine? It wasn't bad but it honestly wasn't that good either. Spoilers below I feel like the story was way too short and it could've kept going a bit more. The endings weren't really all that honestly, I would've rather this story have a bad ending as a whole. Noah and Ryan's ending was happier than I expected, I was expecting a bad ending but I guess this sort of ending is fine too. I felt bad for Ian honestly....but I think that ending was pretty good as it was the harsh reality. He knows the prince won't change and he won't too, in the end he'll still stand by the prince. I prefer Ian's ending honestly and possibly even his story over Ryan and Noah's. I feel like Ryan and Noah's could've continued more in depth.
