Spoilers below ↓ Currently on chapter 36. Honestly I can see why people hate this because Hee wong is so desperate and Hongyeon is just really cold and distant but I actually like it. As someone with low self-esteem and mental illnesses I actually get Hongyeon a lot. I'm not saying Hongyeon is a good person, honestly, he's pretty mean and cold and doesn't seem to care about others too much but you gotta understand that there are real people like this out there that are suffering from low self-esteem and mental illnesses. The fact that Hee wong is desperate is actually a good thing if anything. It means that he's willing to try. What a lot of people with low self-esteem and with mental illnesses such as depression are scared of the most is if their partner would be willingly to put any effort into them. The fact that Hee wong is willing to put effort into him already means a lot to him and it's showing. Am I saying that Hongyeon is a good person? No. He breaks up with people on a whim without giving them a proper explanation, he's not innocent. What I'm only trying to say is that I get it and I get him from a psychological viewpoint. Chapter 46. Hee wong is right. Hongyeon has two choices, either he agrees and they both go back to dating or he toys with him until there's nothing left of the relationship. Being afraid isn't going to get him anywhere and that's the truth. He needs to realize that and try. Try to make things work for himself. Try for the sake of this relationship and Hee wong. It's time for him to learn how to heal and have some confidence in himself. He needs to stop being selfish and think for the two of them, not just about himself and how it could end badly if they do start dating again. Think about the present, not the future. Chapter 48. Hee wong said it as nice as possible. You can't expect someone to change that quickly especially when it's been a part of them for a long time. Hongyeon has been dealing with this for years. It's unrealistic for him to suddenly change and become head over heels with no anxiety and worries at all imo and I don't really get why the people in the comments expect that. He is also right about their relationship. If they both continue like this, it would only hurt them both. What he did was a wise decision for both him and hongyeon. Now it's up for Hongyeon to decide. He's realized it by now from his reaction and he needs to come to a conclusion. Chapter 49. ?? Noona what are you doing..? I really can't stand people like this. She purposely sabotaged their relationship instead of being happy for them. Yeah ok, I get it. You want to get back at Hongyeon but that's so petty. You guys dated when you were 20, it's been years. It also only lasted a day. You need to move on instead of ruining other people's lives. I was alright with her before because she was clearly just warning Hee wong but this is a totally different case. She's also always been highly obsessed with Hongyeon's relationship too now that I think about it and it's kind of weird. She gotta go.. Conclusion. Honestly Hee wong is a great character. He might be desperate but that doesn't make him a bad person. He knows his own feelings well and he knows what he likes and doesn't like. He knows when to keep going and when to stop. Overall, he's a great guy. Hongyeon on the other hand, even though he can be confusing, cold and selfish, he is also pretty kind and it's not a shocking thing. He's been kind to everyone even at the start of the series. It's just when it comes to romantic relationship that it becomes a little too hard for him. I'm glad that he's finally healing little by little and becoming more confident in himself. It takes time to heal and it really isn't an easy thing and I'm sure he's glad that there's someone who is willingly to be patient with him and support him. Don't twist my words though, he is no saint and he's done his fair share of wrongdoings. That doesn't mean he isn't a victim though. He has trauma from his past that couldn't be healed until now and he's taking things slowly. I'm glad they got their happy ending and they both deserve it. Overall though this story to me is between a 3-4 star. It's alright to me and I like how it's pretty realistic for the most part. This was pretty well written though but I'm gonna have to give it a 3 star, it was an ok story. Would I reread this again? I don't think I would. I just think it's meant to be a one time thing for me.
