This Ending
Tbh, this made me cry. It was really good. (Spoilers below, my thoughts abt them) No one was at fault, they just misunderstood each other. Jinwoo still loved Suhyeok, Suhyeok just didn't feel it. He didn't feel/think that Jinwoo still loved him. Jinwoo saw his doings, he didn't give/put enough time in their relationship. He still loved Suhyeok, he just didn't have time. At the end, they get back together and seemed better than before. Even if Suhyeok still questioned if they would still end up parting, we can assure that they're back and look happier and in a healthier relationship than they were before. I know a lot want to see what happens more in the future, if they're still together but I'm sure they are. They have finally understood each other <3
The Spooky Love Tale of Gongchan Seol
I absolutely fucking love this. This is genuinely cute and I love how Youngmin doesn't get mad at Gongchan easily especially bc of Tae-in. It's like the feeling of your lover trusting you and respecting you. Youngmin is literally the standard and the dream man I just hope that there will be no drama between those guys, I love this so much and I'm thankful to the author for making this. Author I love you, please keep up w the amazing work <3 (Update) THERES NO DRAMAAA AND IT ENDED PRETTY GOOD, THEY'RE HAPPY AND I LOVED THIS. TYSM FOR YOUR AMAZING WORK AUTHORRR. ABSOLUTELY ONE OF MY FAVOURITES (Another update) I've reread this like so many times now, If I could marry this series I would.
The Unfeeling Me
The thing is like it wasn't bad, it was really interesting actually and the ending. I actually really liked the ending. It was a plot twist to me. Although the thing I didn't really like were some of the characters. An Baichu's character is missing something to me. I love Lu Lang's character the most. Spoilers below An Baichu is really like, idk how to say it. He betrays Lu Lang in the beginning but he likes Lu Lang. He causes Lu Lang to jump off a huge ass building. Like he himself said it, he did a lot of things wrong. He rushes a lot. He should've been more gentle imo. Even though Lu Lang isn't human anymore he tells others to treat him like one which is great. I liked that abt him, but he becomes a bit greedy and wants Lu Lang to stay safe and confined without realizing how this could've possibly made Lu Lang go crazy. Lu Lang even as a zombie can mostly control himself. Locking him up is going to make him more inhumane than he already is. Like An Baichu's dad said, An baichu himself suggested that Lu Lang shouldn't he kept confined because they don't want him to be soulless. Well whatever, the ending was satisfying to me. I personally liked the twist that they brought Lu Lang back to life after he died and I honestly wanted Lu Lang to die for the angst. People may disagree but I didn't want any "Lovey-Dovey" type of love with these two. Lu Lang and An Baichu's character give a more mature vibe. For these two to not act all over each other is probably the best and not annoying. When I mean lovey-dovey I mean like all cute and fluff. This story can't have that because of the more serious vibes. I wanted a "I love you, Lu Lang." In a serious and mature way at the end tbh. Well tbh it wasn't a bad read and wasn't all that good too so I'm giving it a 4. 1 point for the art style, 1 for characters, and overall 2 for the interesting plot and ending. Still missing some things though so definitely not a 5 for me.
Cairo
I liked this, it's pretty funny tbh For this piece of work that Fujoking made, I feel like it was really comedic ofc but it also had some hints of seriousness in it. Especially the part where Cairo himself really wants to die and it got really bad to the point where he doesn't know the meaning of even staying alive anymore and the joy of it. Like Mer said, he was never promised "death" and he has to stay like this for eternity while having to watch his people move on without him since he can't go to the underworld. I got pretty mad at Ra for that tbh. Even so, Ra looks at Cairo like he's his son and cares for him. Although he got super pissed and serious at Cairo for confronting abt how he had no joy in "life" and that he wanted to die eternally, I know that he even though he probably knows Cairo has to go through this, he still cherishes cairo and loves him very much. The comedy and bits of love covered it up perfectly so it's all good
Inner Beauty
It definitely wasn't my favourite but it was ok. I didn't mind it and found it interesting but I don't know if I would reread this one. It's worth reading I guess but it's not necessarily that good or amazing either, to me at least. Please do give it a try, I would recommend it.
Kiss the Bride
It wasn't that great to me. There were some drama and I feel like if they just communicated with each other better from the start they wouldn't have to feel hurt like that. They had a happy ending I guess. It wasn't a bad read, I would recommend it but I wouldn't reread this one again. Not my cup of tea
Obedient Heritage
Honestly....I really don't know what to say. Theres a lot of moments of rape/sa...from the psycho dude that was obsessed with Liu and from Jaeho too. Liu was just following orders from Jaeho, there were moments that he willingly accepted, but there are also some moments where he just does it because it's an order and not because he WANTS it. Ofc Jaeho's not actually that bad of a person. He's actually nice and caring towards Liu in the middle and end of the story. But at the start.....man..idk.....
Big Apple
This story was actually quite interesting, I'm not sure if it's something I would reread but it was definitely pretty good. I would recommend this if you like fighting/battle partner romance troupes. It also included dragons, espers and mages. It was more interesting than it looks though, a lot of stories that include dragons, mages and espers that I've read with romance included usually don't include using firearms so having Joachim be a sniper was quite amusing to me. I loved seeing Juergen's perspective at the epilogue chapters. It was interesting seeing him think that he wouldn't need Joachim at first when they met to how obsessed and how much he wanted Joachim more and more in the process of the plot.
The Beast Must Die
Honestly this was a great read. This might not be for people who are looking for a healthy relationship between the 'couple', it's a psychological thriller type of romance. It's nice to read these once in a while for a change of pace. There are a few triggering things in this story so please read this with caution if you are uncomfortable with things that include S.A, murder and etc. This story was very interesting, from the plot to the characters. The ending was satisfying, it wasn't overall a happy ending and it should stay that way. The ending gave a very sad and gentle feeling of how the both of them would never be a normal pair and how it led up to become this way. It was very sensational and melancholic. I would definitely reread this.
