This manga holds a special place, not for its idea of a possessive lover or the theme "school life", for that matter - it tackles the concept of the non-stereotypical couples. We have a shorter seme and a much taller uke. We see this in the real life too, even among heterosexual couples, and the mangaka did such a nice job of proving such a couple can work, contrary to popular opinion. Reminiscent to LoveCom, a shoujo manga, it is nice to see a yaoi mangaka having the mismatched couple as the protagonists of the series.
