Living as the Villain’s Stepmother
Ch.41 Art 3 Plot 3 --- • There is a Novel [Summary] The MC finds herself inna novel she read. Where she is the stepmother of the OGMC, Hir. She decides to push the plot forward now because she wants Hir to live a better life with happier memories before she leaves. Although the Original Lei abused Hir. He still managed to warm up to the MC. She went to the Duke and asked for a contract marriage that lasts for a year. Just enough time so she can get Hir to feel comfortable at the duke's place while preparing him to take over the Duke's spot. (Not maliciously) °~• Thoughts •~° [Main Plot] It's nothing much in all honesty. The beginning drew you in but the more you read it. Your interest in it disappear. It's becoming tedious and annoying. Mostly because the characters are acting this way but it doesn't make sense why they are. I did read some spoilers so I do understand why the OG Lei might have acted the way she did. It makes sense for an abused victim who never got helped to continue the cycle, especially sense it would have taught them to only care for themselves. Another spoiler I read, was the MC does run away with one of the ML knights who helped her escape. They only said the knight helped her run away. Never got an details on if she ran away or he found her. There is also Hir, we didn't hear about his state of mind after she left [MC] She was interesting at first but she is the most annoying character for me. Reading through her lack of development has gotten me so tired of her. Such a pessimistic person. I don't really remember if we got to know about her life before she got Isekai'd. But I do know she is very weak and it's like she lacks basic comprehension. I'm not saying she is dumb but she is written like she is so overwhelmed and is unable to make connections. She is always making contract deals to get things done but she is not trying to learn about those close to her. Just trying to use them so she can leave but she can't even do that. Since she gets attached to them but keeps saying "it's a contract". Which is annoying in that sense. If the author wants the MC to be this obsessed with boundaries then he should have her grow to better set them. She acts so immature for her age at times to. You come from modern time and read the novel so many times. Yet you are don't know how weddings work. Like do books not exist in the world. I just don't understand her. [ML] Honestly he is not badly written like the MC but him falling in love so quickly doesn't make complete sense but it's nothing bad. [Continuing?] I don't know if it's worth continuing because of how tedious it has gotten. I think I will wait for more chapter or it becoming complete to read it. But around chapter 36 I wanted to skip and honestly I wouldn't have missed anything if I did. Nothing really happened that is significant to the story.

Ch.5 | 1-5 Art 4 Plot 4 --- This was a good story. It was very fucked up on how they treated the MC.
