Ch.62 | 1-62 Art 4 Plot 4 --- So far I like it (ch.22) It's very well written and pulls at your heartstrings. You can really feel and understand the lead and the other kids emotions. The romance feels so rushed to me. There was no build up. The whole build up to the conclusion feels rushed. The revenge feels bleak. --- Held Captive | Ch.1-22 After the Duke and Duchess funeral the MC and Serpente kids find themselves in a strange place. They were unfamiliar with this place. It was too big for a servents area and too unkempt to be for nobles. The same day the uncle visited and told them that they needed to stay for their safety. A week later he would be able to send them out to study abroad in Zrekis. 2 weeks past and he finally returns. He said they should have noticed there is a change in the original plans and when asked for when they would be able to leave he said a month. Almost 2 months past and he comes back. Only to get mad at the MC for sleeping next to the Serpente kids. She was able to turn this on to him and he just let it go. Asking her help with something. In front of her was supplies and a exit. She wanted to run out but after considering the fact that no one would help she stayed. The uncle left and the eldest son woke up. Refusing to come to turns the fact his family betrayed them he begins lashing out at the MC. Causing issues to arise. After injuring the MC he calms down and things return to back to a calm state. Until Estelle got sick. Knowing they needed to do something the MC hides in the cart to look for help. After finding the crown prince she tried to approach but was caught by the uncles. She burst put in tears saying Estelle needs help NOW. He finally sees Estelle's condition but thw butler says he was handling this. Causing the brother to get mad and the 2nd son stated hitting the butler. When the butler hit the 2nd son. The 1st son hit the butler. Which caused the uncles to say the Serpente kids were not ready to leave. (Ch.19) After this, the butler showed him self all the time. Enjoying the kids horrid state. After he caused an issue and got hit he decides to release his anger on the 1st son. The MC stepped in to stop him but got attack to. The 2nd son hit the butler and the butler tried to give them a fatal injury. The 1st son got in the way bit lost his left eye vision after getting hit. (Ch.20) This was the incident that pushed them to escape. They knew that if they didn't escape now, they would die. (Ch.21) That day of the banquet, their plan was set in motion. The 2nd son killed 2 that day and the 1st son became a leader. After escaping the run into the knights of their family. That were sent by the crown prince. They were brought to the imperial palace. 2 days after their escale Estelle died 15 days before her 14th birthday. She died peacefully from pneumonia. The 1st son was told he will never get his vision back and they were told to keep quiet about this situation. The brother were ok with it but the MC felt like it was messed up. (Which is understandable but the brother's realized they don't have any power right now.) Ch.53 she kissed the 2nd son -

I liked it although the og leads are annoying. The leads are great, and they communicate well. *Read on Freakscans to ch.49

Ch.27 °~• Summary •~° The MC was isekai'd into a otome game she played right before death. Before she died she lived a life full of bad luck which eventually led to her be let go from her job after it went under. Her only escape was an otome game. °~• Thoughts •~° Very interesting, the plot was great until the last chapter (22). They bring up the fact the MC is underage but did not talk about the age gap between them. • it's vert off putting knowing she is underage but it seemed like she herself didn't really register that. Mentally she is a grown adult who weathered the storm of the hectic adult life in Seoul. • I'm glad she broke off the engagement but I wish she did it sooner °~• Plot •~° After falling and hitting her head on her bedside table the MC finds herself in the otome game she has been playing relentless. Having only on route to complete she fails repeatedly to make any progress. This leads her to ask why while mad. Leading to her losing balance and falling. When she woke up she found herself in the game heading to the ML, the guy who route she couldn't clear, once she was there she called off the hit. It's a promo but I don't want to be left on a forever cliffhanger. So, wait for a serialization or until I have time to read the novel.
