Ch.1-8->26 It was just too slow for me. I didn't mind the age gap because they weren't doing the deed but I can't keep reading.

It feels like its being dragged on unnecessarily

I could only read to Ch.3 The fact that she rather "act" a fool then think of a better way out drives me crazy. You are from the 20th century give a 4 year old answer to a problem. No, a 4 year old would have just brought it straight up.

From what I remember the mother's husband would always die after some time. FL would stick to her mother. But the mother died this time with the husband leaving her with the husband's family(ML). Then they fall in love and somewhere along there she finds out he caused their death or a magician did. Well it was definitely a magician. [Art] it was great but not good enough to keep me reading. [Plot] nothing much I got uninterested fast after she found out who caused their parents death.

Ch.5 | 1-5 °~• Summary •~° °~• Plot •~° °~• Thoughts •~° First time I read this I only got to chapter 2 before I skipped to the latest chapter, which was 13, and it still didn't hook me in. Now, I reread it again and got to chapter 5. But I'm still not hooked. Others said it was good ans the art looks amazing. Not to mention the MC has a voice and is not afraid to speak up so far. It just feels slow to me and maybe it's just me but I'm kind of lost. What is her goal.
