great, lovely, v cute <3 childhood friend grew up and became an adult, his unrequited love that he's liked since before he could remember finally sees him as a man. they get married after many struggles, and the ending resolves nicely. i really liked seeing the seme 'move on' and be distant and dominate, while the uke finally realizes he wants the life they had together again. those chapters were reminiscent of bj alex. i always like plots that include a needy person who realizes their worth then leaves, and only after does the other person wish their partner was with them. a falling apart and coming back together story is v heartwarming to me

they both were playing with fire, except alex never foresaw himself being burned. it's ironic that clark ultimately caused alex's demise, even when he was in a hostage situation. it was hinted in the beginning of the story that clark poisoned that cat, which revealed that even he had some secrets to hide. clark is manipulative and enjoys uncovering crime stories for his own pleasure. alex is a control freak who desperately wants someone to stay with him, but struggles to convey his feelings in a healthy way. since feelings are fleeting, he'd rather preserve them and keep them in their prime, even if that meant killing the person before they had a change of heart. it's interesting to see their relationship dynamics come into play. a dominant, cool-headed uke and a puppy-like, murderous seme. the characters were quite original, and it would've been nice to see these two in an alt universe without all the fuck-up aspects of this story. the ending wasn't that surprising but wasn't disappointing either. after all, this is a psychological manga (death is a motif), so someone has to fucking die. even if they continued to live, i don't think they could be in a healthy relationship (pointing out the obvious). i know that's not the point of this bl, and i wasn't expecting this to be like warehouse. she was one-of-a-kind, and probably will stay that way in this genre. i don't ship them, since their feelings were never sincere and clark especially only entertained alex for the sake of his hobby, but it would be nice to play around with the idea of them being a couple in this realm. i do believe alex was trying to change, he was shown in earlier chapters trying to tell himself not to think unhappy thoughts. my heart goes out for him, and i think he just met the wrong person at the wrong time in his life. he was shaped by the conditions of his lonely childhood, with no guidance from friends or people willing to help him reach a healthy form of happiness. he found consolation in someone who was also mentally unstable, and we all know it's hopeless to find redemption from someone who can't give out more than they can take. a good song to capture the vibe of this bl is [psycho by red velvet] without the "hey now we'll be ok" part lmao

~ didn't like the rapey aspects in the first chapter. however, the story shed some light on victims getting over sexual abuse while working in the sex industry, which i appreciate! the story developed nicely, the art style was good for dramatic effect especially in the sexc scenes ahaha

~ damn. even with memory loss, nothing can tear these two apart. prostitute comes to love an assassin, both fall in love over and over again despite many obstacles in their way :,)

~ hands-down, best omegaverse bl i've ever read ^^ seme-like uke, kinda submissive-puppy like seme!

~ cute couple who both express what they want. nice to see a manga that's open about kinks, leg kinks to be exact. didn't feel frustrated at all with these two, hope miyoshi gets together with the other pretty guy <3

~ vampire bl with drama that evolves with the plot. the flashback part was smashed into chapters back to back which made it feel rushed, would’ve been better if the reader found out about them throughout the story. quite a few plot holes, and the ending (uke gets together with exe to protect lover) was pretty shitty. i felt especially irritated with the uke for his actions, tbh i wouldn’t have put up with that shit. bitch bye

~ probably bc i'm a dumb bitch but i didn't understand all the business plot and shit. i have a general grasp of it, but that's about it. taekyung was being manipulative, so he felt like an antagonist at times instead of a protagonist. it left off with a lot of untied strings, will heejae ever regain his memories? what's going to happen to the side couple? i read this bc i saw this is by fujoking and their art is just stunning (shame application made me nut), but this one was a let down :(

~ god my heart broke for wooyeon and his ex-boyfriend, losing someone to cancer is harsh. i feel like the story could be summed up simply as this : two broken people trying to find comfort in each other. i personally relate to hanbit quite a bit, and I admire him for his perseverance but I could tell he was getting worn out. i'm glad in the end he was able to find balance with junwoo as his friend. i really do wish that wooyeon and junwoo had communicated more in the beginning, which would have removed that barrier between them. imo, this could have been a perfect shounen ai so that the plot could develop more. the smut scenes were steamy, don't get me wrong, but it limited the character and plot progression. i'm happy that, finally, they were both able to get past their trauma in the end. it leaves a bittersweet feeling after finishing it:,)
