Nice plot twists. I loved the beginning! The manga literally started out sad asf. The main character is asked by his mother to record her before she dies from cancer. And then it continues in the pov of the camera the mc was gifted I thought it would be a short sad oneshot, like the ones i read before. So i was prepared for a sad ending, and then i see the mc running away before entering the hospital as it explodes-straight out of a b rated movie- and yells goodbye mother . I was so taken aback i started laughing! What the hell was that lolol. And then I realized that it was a movie! So i thought i didnt have to take it so seriously and that the students that found it disturbing were just killjoys. But then it turned out to be true! THE MC MOM REALLY DID DIE FROM CANCER! What the hell. During the movie and outside of it, it seemed as if his mothers death didnt affect him. And the story continues there where he tries to khm but then another female student drags him to watch movies and convinces him to make another and to regain glory from his school or something like that. And through conversations with his father we find out his mother was abusive and simply wanted the movie for her own gain. The cruelest thing she ever did was ask him watch her die. That was it. Thats where it felt wrong. In the beginning she hadnt asked him to capture last moments, she asked him to watch her die. And thats where it made sense. His reaction to her death is definitely dubious, but through its process its undeniable that he was uncomfortable and afraid, just like the reader. And like eri said, the reader (or watcher) felt a relief in the last scene of the mc movie. I also would not want to watch my mother die, its something that is difficult to accept. Idk. At that moment, i wouldve ran away too. It was a fun story
