Rating is for the first story. A misunderstanding when using his coworker Makino's laptop leads Sasaki to believe that Makino is nursing a years-long unrequited crush on him, which isn't quite wrong, really. Surprisingly for Nishida Higashi, none of the characters in the first story have any embarrassing or traumatizing sexual experiences, and the whole thing ends (in two one-shots) without anyone getting anywhere in bed, which adds to the charm. Everyone is gruffly affectionate with each other and efficient at work, and the bumbling self-conscious advances of a thirty-something who is trying his best is portrayed endearingly as only Nishida Higashi can.
