// Complete // Being set in the 2060s, tbh I'd have expected a more futuristic vibe, but the author explained that she wanted to give a picture of a future that was not so much different from our present, so that's ok! Anyway, that's just a personal note based on my preferences that didn't alter in any way my opinion about the story, which is clearly an absolute masterpiece! Shimizu Reiko really outdid herself here: she put a tremendous effort into research and I was so impressed by that! From every little detail, it transpires clearly how passionate she was in creating this story! The psychological aspect and the characters' thoughts and emotions, while having to deal with such horrible cruel cases, were very interesting! Well, it may not be everyone's cup of tea (also for the faint of heart it may be disturbing), but I can say for sure that this is a must-read compelling, beautifully-written, unique work! Needless to say, I loved Maki and Aoki's relationship! Some of their moments were so fine and precious! That's love for me (even if Aoki himself hasn't really realized it yet haha) and no one can convince me otherwise! Man, at the very last page, I really wanted to read the letter that Aoki was finally able to write and send to Maki at the end!! Anyway I loved their every moment, especially in the last vol. and I liked the ending! Also, in that last picture, we see that Yukiko at last got married to that SP officer guy (the one that Maki assigned to watch over her when she was in possible danger and whom she threw to the ground thinking he was the one following her haha) and, more importantly, Maki caught the bouquet!! haha Perfect!! A great intense, deep, psychological story by Nishida Higashi! I'm so in love with this!! So cool and so sweet! Another story by Suzumaru Minta that totally captivated me! [[20 y.o. Uni Student x Police Officer]] I loved the funny beginning and thb, according to my tastes, I'd have preferred and found more interesting if the seme was really a flasher who coincidentally got caught by the police officer! But it was actually a case of past encounter and the seme was already in love with the uke: although the police officer didn't remember at first, 5 years before he helped the seme to search for his lost dog and became the boy's crush. The flasher thing was just a silly way the seme thought to get involved with the police officer and, after the seme confessed everything, it was soon dismissed and the dynamics changed completely. That said, the story was still good and overall I really liked it!
