This was the best for me, I don't even know anymore how many times I have read it already: this is a must read...so many emotions!! I have read many stories with male courtesan x customer pattern, but they can't compare to this: a forbidden love between male courtesans of the same brothel; a love with many obstacles that will totally captivate you! A tale about two young boys, with different background, sold to the brothel and destined to become prostitutes. Kichou and Kagerou meet in the brothel and they become friends, but as time goes by they grow distant and they compete to become the number one courtesan in the brothel. A love-hate relationship driven by unexpressed feelings and obtacles, but their love is the purest: nothing can saparate them!! They made a promise that one day, they will leave the gates of that brothel together holding hands. I was moved by Kichou's love for Kagerou, cause he would do anything for his princess and to honor that promise!!

Surely, the age gap is big but I love it and I love them together! It was a very pleasant reading. It was cute, funny and sexy all in one! I think ch. 5, in which we see their first meeting when Kyuuta was in middle school, gave this special sweet meaning to their relationship and made the story deeper. Also, one thing I loved was actually the setting, basically Etsuro's old house, because I like to see japanese traditional houses in manga!
