My Barbaric Girlfriend
☞ Effeminate Akira Uehara and tomboy Nanako Momoi...what is better than a body swap? Well, I want to consider this a good story, cause it was really funny and if you like BL or GL this could be interesting, but there are some things that I didn't like. [MAY SPOIL] I understand that body swap is the core of the plot and it's fine if they feel right this way, but at the end what matters is just love...can't Senbongi just accept Akira as he is? Personally, I was really disappointed about this. Also, I didn't like how Momoi did whatever she wanted in Akira's body without thinking about the consequences and others' feelings...she even cheated on Shiina, who didn't even know the whole truth about the swap! They told her only part of it, but I think she knew in her heart~ ➸ There is a spin-off called Boku to Kanojo no xxx - Bangaihen, which "offers a new ending to the original series", but it's not scanlated yet. This manga was also adapted into a live-action drama, but it's a bit different from the original plot.
Lovers in Conflict
First story: arranged marriage // age gap // tomboy // interesting characters - I like this kind of stories, but I think it could have been developed better. It was nice but the plot was a bit weak. Instead, I was more intrigued by the second story: incest // plot twist
KareKano
20th Century // School Life // Slice of Life // Romance // Change in art style // Character Growth // Rivals Become Lovers // False Personality // Family Drama // Hidden tragic past // Multiple couples // Pregnancy // Time Skip ((*..*)) TBH, I found the beginning very boring. I had a hard time reading it, but later it gets a lot better with the progressing of the story and when new characters are introduced. I loved step-siblings Tsubasa and Kazuma, so adorable!! That's why I began to enjoy the reading around ch 50 (ch 48-57, approximately), when there is the development of their relationship! From ch 59, the story goes back to the main couple and finally it becomes more interesting and mature; it goes much more in depth, dealing with more serious issues and all the family drama. Maybe it's not a story I'd re-read, but overall it's good! Adapted to Anime - I think the beginning is funnier to watch in the anime, rather than in the manga, where it seemed boring to me, as I said...

I read stories with similar characteristics, but without a doubt this is the best historical shoujo with time travel! EPIC, GENIAL, BREATHTAKING >> I say, this needs an anime adaptation!! How come there's none yet??

Retake!
"...So, what do you want to 'retake'?" - Cute oneshot about time travel. I liked how both Ayano and Shiraishi still thought about that day in elementary school...well, even if there was a misunderstanding, it was sweet! ( ✿˘︶˘✿ )
