Tokyo Mew Mew
ו•× Well, ever since I was a child I loved mahou shoujo and Tokyo Mew Mew, as many other well-known products of this category, was one of my fav! Back then I thought it was cool! So, I actually read the manga to recall those good old times and it brings back lots of memories indeed! However, analyzing the story critically, the actual development of the plot is flat; there aren't spannung or exciting moments...even the final resolution escalated quickly and in a very predictable way. About the romantic component, well that didn't satisfy me not even in the anime, because even back then I didn't like Ichigo and Masaya. But, even if there are some differences between the manga and the anime, this last one is more entertaining I guess, especially the battle scenes. Overall, the manga isn't so bad...it's still nice to read! Well, of course, coming back to it now, I realized it's not that great of a story, but it's cute and makes me think of when I was younger, so I still like it! Haha ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ I guess I'm biased because of that nostalgic feeling, but I'll give it 3☆! 7 Volumes (Complete) Magical Girls, Female Fighters, Animal Characteristics, Cafè, Waitresses, Secret Identity, Genetic Modification, Aliens, Rushed Ending|Axed Sequel: Tokyo Mew Mew a La Mode; Side-Story Sequel: Tokyo Mew Mew 2020 Re-Turn Related Series Timeline: 1) Tokyo Mew Mew 2) Tokyo Mew Mew à La Mode 3) Tokyo Mew Mew: 2020 Re-Turn Anime
Tokyo Mew Mew a La Mode
ו•× A sequel to Tokyo Mew Mew...was it really necessary? Oh well, I read it anyway. After all, there are only 2 volumes and so it doesn't take much time to read it. The plot is not worth mentioning, but the art was still nice and I found Berry so cute! In the prequel I didn't like the couple, Ichigo and Masaya, but in this sequel at least I liked Berry and Tasuku: such an adorable couple! For me that's really the only thing that kinda satisfied me, but I think younger readers may appreciate this story more than I did. 2 Volumes (Complete) Magical Girls, Female Fighters, Animal Characteristics, Genetic Modification, Cafè, Waitresses, Secret Identity, Hypnotism, Manipulation, Childhood Friends, Male Lead Falls in Love First, Rushed Ending|Axed Prequel: Tokyo Mew Mew; Side-Story Sequel: Tokyo Mew Mew 2020 Re-Turn Related Series Timeline: 1) Tokyo Mew Mew 2) Tokyo Mew Mew à La Mode 3) Tokyo Mew Mew: 2020 Re-Turn

Guilty Crown
Well, the manga version obviously lacks the appeal of the anime's eye-catching visuals and, especially, the great soundtracks that made it more special and truly unforgettable, but I still really like it! The story is the same, just like in the anime, so it remains as interesting to be read as well. The ending in the anime was sad, it made me cry, but overall it's a touching and beautiful story! 7 Volumes (Complete) - Last chapter available here: vol. 3 ch. 11 // Raw: 77mh.com / colist_208259.html
