Kodomo No Omocha

Complete | obana miho | 2000 released

Kodomo No Omocha....so many memories!! Everyday when I came back from school I'd watch the anime and Akito Hayama was indeed a part of my childhood: I think he was like the dream of every little girl...you can't deny it xD But it's not really just a manga for children, cause there are also mature themes, even if in the anime were kind of softened or a little changed. The characters face many hardships, they go through happy and sad times and you can feel their emotions as they grow up. There are lots of funny moments that made me laugh, but also serious and more mature ones: a good mix that makes this story, with children as protagonists, a manga for everyone. I might be biased but this story is so good, it never gets old, definitely a masterpiece. ➤ Sequel: Deep Clear (Honey Bitter meets Kodomo no Omocha) - the famous actress Kurata Sana is going to play in a new film as a detective. She wants to be able to impersonate her character as best as possible so she asks Shuri if she can stick around to learn a few things. Shuri also recieves a more intimate request from Sana's manager, Sagami Rei... ➤ Side Story: Mizu no Yakata (Mansion of Water) - This is the one shot of the movie that Sana and Naozumi starred in from Kodomo no Omocha.

➸ Side Story of Honey Bitter and sequel to Kodomo no Omocha: the famous actress Kurata Sana is going to play in a new film as a detective. She wants to be able to impersonate her character as best as possible so she asks Shuri if she can stick around to learn a few things. Shuri also recieves a more intimate request from Sana's manager, Sagami Rei... Thankfully, everything went well. Akito was so worried that he couldn't even enjoy the happy news...I understand that he had that trauma, but with a strong and energetic woman like Sana, I think he just had to be with her and support her. I should feel bad for Naozumi, but actually this turn of events is not bad at all!! I'd really love to see Naozumi as the protagonist of a BL story with his own happy ending!!! (≧∀≦)

Crush on You

Complete | lee kyung ha | 2000 released

"Will you be my band-aid?" - Seriously, they are so cute!!! (≧∀≦) This manhwa is such a nice reading, a masterpiece for me!! Right pace and interesting characters that, through love triangles and more serious issues, try to understand what love really is. And the cool thing is that this story has both BL and Shoujo elements: it was interesting also the development of the heterosexual couple.

Koizora

Complete | mika | 2007 released

"The story that moved all the girls in the country to tears" - Exactly, prepare the tissues for this story!! This story is harsh as reality...it's like a punch in the teeth! The happiest moment followed by the saddest one! My poor heart was broken into pieces and I cried, but I don't regret reading it: this story is so good that it's worth reading, so when you feel like reading something sad, this is totally recommended! After all, it's based on a true story, so that's why you can feel the taste of the harsh reality: bad things just happen without any warning and sad moments come when you least expect it; your happiness could be taken away at any time. This is such a touching story, you can't remain indifferent after reading it. A story you can't forget and that will make you see things in a different light: I think the most important thing is to understand that every single moment is precious! "While experiencing many sad events, and while getting hurt, the time she spends with him is still one of the most happy moments in her life..." ➸ This sad but beautiful story was also adapted into live-action drama and movie.

Hidden Love

Complete | LEE Gi Ha | 2000 released

➸ "Why does a man with mysophobia pat me with his bare hand? It's trick or true?" Aww this was so cute, I wish it wasn't a oneshot, I wanted more!! ➸ "He wasn't treating me like a kid. He was treating me like a dog instead" ?! Haha seriously, it was adorable and funny!! (≧▽≦)

Hapi Mari

Complete | Enjouji Maki | 2009 released

"From now on, at times like this, add hubby to the end of your sentences, ok, my wifey?" xD Hapi Mari - Happy Marriage!? I love relationships that start with an arranged marriage, because the logical order is completely reversed and it's interesting, and most of the times funny, to see how two strangers find themselves living together and try to adapt to the other's needs. Will love bloom? Honestly, who wouldn't want a husband like Hokuto?? Actually, I liked the story exactly because of the developing relationship of the characters, not because of the plot and all the family drama. After all, in many cases what makes a good story are the protagonists and this was the case for Hapi Mari: even if I'm not really into crybaby and emotionally weak female lead, Chiwa and Hokuto, together, were the perfect combination; they were cute and hilarious, they made me laugh most of the time and they made this such a nice and enjoyable story! ➸ There is a Drama Adaptation!

Daddy Long Legs

Complete | Do | 2004 released

Dengeki Daisy

Complete | motomi kyousuke | 2007 released

16 Volumes (Complete) (()) Janitor x High-school girl - "I'm just a normal school janitor" The thing is, Kurosaki Tasuku, apart from being hot as hell, is anything but a normal janitor! Hehe The plot is seriously amazing, I was totally hooked! There is this halo of mystery sorrounding the story which made me eager to read one chapter after another without stopping! It's such a great story, definitely Motomi Kyousuke's best one!

Bokura ga Ita

Complete | OBATA Yuuki | 2002 released

ʚɞ Bokura ga Ita - We were there ʚɞ Tragic past and regret are the things that play a big role in this emotional story. The love story of a boy and a girl, from their teenage years till their early twenties. Through sad and happy moments, they experience many things and they mature also because of tragic and life-changing events. Reading this, I even cried at some points, cause there were so many emotions. In particular towards the end, all the missed timing made me think "what bad luck! will they be together?", but in the end, no matter how many years pass, I think certain love are simply meant to be. Bokura ga Ita is an award-winning work and, in fact, it didn't disappoint me. Aside the fact that I couldn't stand anymore Yamamoto Yuri, it's really a great story...definitely one of the best famous shoujo!
