Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne

Complete | tanemura arina | 1998 released

I like mahou shoujo together with kaitou trope! Even better if there's an intriguing romance going on! In fact, I liked this story especially for the romantic part: I loved the relationship between Jeanne / Maron and Sinbad / Chiaki! > Manga and anime are a bit different. Not only towards the end, but there're also some differences here and there. For example, in the manga Maron already finds out about Sinbad being Chiaki in ch. 5, while in the anime she finds out later and for this I think I liked it better how it happened in the anime, because in the manga I thought it was a bit soon and it was anticlimatic how she found out. Then, in the anime there're also several fillers episodes that imo were not really necessary. But the main difference would be Fin's story, which was a bit changed in the anime together with the final events. And with the ending itself being different. Anyway, I liked both anime and manga, but I think in the anime they should have reproduced the final part just like it was in the manga. Anime: gogoanime.pro / anime / kamikaze-kaitou-jeanne-lrwq

Please Save My Earth

Complete | HIWATARI Saki | 1987 released

Hiwatari Saki's masterpiece! A must-read classic! - An interesting, thought-provoking and beautiful story. One of those unforgettable ones! It's really a brilliantly written work. I was anticipating so much for all the elements to be finally put together, and, while keeping following the characters' inner thoughts and feelings and observing their reactions and growth, I felt the story had this powerful fascinating and mysterious vibe that got me so hooked...I so wanted to see what would happen next that I got so immersed in reading, while being so emotionally engaged as well! I loved it so much! Totally recommended! It's absolutely amazing. I really think it's one of the very best manga ever! > The OVA episodes were good too, but they cover only till volume 8 (Tankoubon), so they just end like that without a conclusion. 21 Volumes (Tankoubon - Complete) // 12 Volumes (Bunkoban - Complete) OVA (1993 // 6 episodes): gogoanime.run / category / boku-no-chikyuu-wo-mamotte > Special: youtube.com / watch?v=NGQEv7g8_xE - "The Passing of the Golden Age contains six music videos with footage not seen in the OVA and scenes taken from the manga, as well as a slightly different version of the OVA ending sequence, and the ending credits for the image videos."
