Last Summer Blues
Oneshot included in Gosan no Heart (ch. 4) - This story felt more like Bromance|BL Subtext. The theme is baseball and, regarding that and the fact that senpai doesn't practice anymore, the issue is resolved, although in a bittersweet sense because senpai actually can't play baseball anymore due to arm injury. But, regarding the characters' feelings, nothing was spoken out loud. It remained implicit and this seemed like it was only the beginning...it definitely needed to be longer!
Nigireba Kobushi Hirakeba Tenohira
I really needed a continuation to this inconclusive ending!! But with the brownish-haired friend going doki doki in the end, we can still guess how things will go between the two!
Muko X Muko
Oneshot included in vol. 5 of "After 5 Wa Kiss No Ame" - Transfer students Misao and Eichi, the school's most popular idols, really seem to hate each other. However, the two are actually married and living together! But since moving to Japan, they decided to keep it a secret...so every morning when they arrive at school they show their dislike for each other... // 2 Stars, but it was too ridiculous. > It's obviously not to be taken seriously, but let's focus on a few things that didn't make sense and lacked explanation. First of all, they're transfer students who are said to be foreign citizens that didn't live in Japan before. So, where did they live? They have Japanese names, so are they really foreigners|mixed blood or did they simply live abroad? And what is the specific reason they moved to Japan, did they elope? And let's come to the fact that they're married...even if they decided to keep it a secret, why would they pretend to hate each other? But more than that, let's talk about the fact that the uke was already married once before with a woman (so was he straight|bisexual?) and he has a step-son, the son of that woman. The thing is the step-son has around the same age as the uke and goes to the same school, so had the uke's late wife twice his age? But more than the age gap issue, the fact is that the uke is currently a high schooler and it's already been three years since the woman died, so when did they get married? When he was around 14 or 15? It was a really weird and random story...
Karakuri (kishimoto Masashi)
Masashi Kishimoto's first work - I liked it. The idea was interesting. It was only a short chapter though and it seemed more like a prologue for a longer series! In fact, it's an episode that happens while the protagonist is on leave, so it felt like a side story. But then again, after Kishimoto created this, we got Naruto, so nothing to complain about!
Close your eyes
I liked this kind of story, but the ending it's really painful, even disappointing I'd say...but I guess it's a realistic, mature kind of ending. We can't always have a happy ending. But certainly it leaves a bitter taste behind. Personally, I still would have liked a continuation to see how things would have really gone between them once they would have started living under the same roof as step-brothers after their parents would have gotten married...especially since Ryou said he would remain in the house till graduation and then leave after that. Ending like that, it really makes me wonder about the ifs and buts... # Angst, Denied Feelings, Facade, Friends Grow Distant, Painful Love, Sacrifice, Unexpressed Feelings, Unresolved Romance

It was cute, but that was it! Apart from the fact that it was very short, it wasn't well-organized|well-written...it was really a bit of a mess!
