Candy Life
Makoto dreams of a sweet, sweet life, but that seems so far away when, on top of being fired, she also gets dumped by her boyfriend. Being drunk and sad, somehow she even falls into the ocean! However, she is rescued by a handsome man, who's actually the rich Aeba CEO, and so luck seems to have returned on her side. Then, for a strange turn of events, she also gets involved with a younger man, who turns out to be the CEO's "son"... Notes: The author said their names, Aito and Makoto, come from the classic manga Ai to Makoto, so the thing about them calling each other's names and laughing is a funny reference to that manga. Also, Iwaya Shinobu and Iwaya Akane who appear as characters in this story are the sisters of Iwaya Sumire from "Kimi wa Petto.", which is chronologically set after the events of Candy Life. > Well, I really like stories with older female younger male, so for that I enjoyed it. And especially at the beginning Aito was an intriguing hot character for me. On the other hand, I'm not very fond of female leads such as Makoto. Actually, I was more interested in the side characters - the Iwaya sisters (thankfully they appear again in Kimi wa Petto). Anyway, although the last chapter was a bit ridiculous, I still think Candy Life is a nice, funny josei reading. The ending was cute!
The Female Knight and The Barbarians
I think it had the potential to be longer...anyway, I really liked it!
Witch of Thistle Castle
The beginning is so promising and captivating! I think this author's stories are truly interesting and pretty unique! Certainly, Witch of Thistle Castle caught my attention and I'm looking forward to read more!
