For the last three years, Shoko has been active in seeking a marriage partner, but now, as she turns 30, she wants to give that up. Also, having completed her 1 year-contract-job, she decides to go on a trip to Seoul, Korea, to finally enjoy herself at the fullest after letting go of those obligations. Despite her sister not being quite supportive, she's determined to do so. But then, on the plane to Seoul, things seem to take an unexpected turn when a handsome guy's luggage falls onto Shoko's head...the two start talking, but because of a misunderstanding, the guy thinks Shoko is a married woman. Even so, as an apology, he invites her to eat paella with him once they'll arrive to Seoul. Some time after having eaten together, the guy unexpectedly says: "So, would you like to have an affair with me? It's fine if it's just for the duration of you stay in Seoul. Have an affair with me...". How will she go about the misunderstanding? And will this be just an "affair"?

«✾(())✾» Akira (1982) by Otomo Katsuhiro - The timeless legendary classic award-winning masterpiece that inspired many works of its genre. Simply unique, breathtaking and mindblowing...reading this was a journey full of emotions! The plot, the setting and its visuals, the characters, the art...everything was perfect! Highly recommended, TOTALLY A MUST READ! No other words needed! And I actually don't need to write anything else to remind myself of this story, because it's truly unforgettable! Its essence and what I felt while reading it will always remain in my memory. The anime movie, a landmark in Japanese animation, is also great (a timeless favourite of mine and one of the best ever imo), but I also think it's just a taste of Akira. As a lot of things were left out (a great deal of the story actually) and others a little changed (not just in terms of storyline but also some characters and the parts they played in the course of the story), the development and some parts of the story are different. So, to experience Akira at its fullest, the manga is essential. [[Flipped Translated Publication - Read from Left to Right]] - Note: in the English version the story is set in 2030, but originally it's 2019. Btw, the fact that we'll have Tokyo 2020 - XXXII Olympic Games is truly amazing! Anime movie: available at kissanime and also on Netflix. >> It seems a new anime adaptation is in production!

[[Complete]] I actually wanted to read this because of the last story, which is also the title story, Daddy-Long-Legs, because I like the original work. As I expected, I really enjoyed reading it! For it I'd have given 4. About the other stories...well, they were kinda unusual, let's say...overall, they were ok.
