Two siblings, determined to discover the truth, decide to visit her little cottage... -» Such a nice, sweet granny! I found this story delightful to read, full of soothing elements: her cozy cottage with all the herbs, the lovely cats, the adorable kids, the tea and that delicious tart...everything was really nice! ｡^‿^｡ Ch. 2 Tsukiyo no Toratsugumi - [From T/N] Toratsugumi/Scaly thrush: a bird that sings at night. Their thin, whistle-like singing is considered ceepy by some, which led to people in Japan referring to them as Nue (a kind of japanese apparition/youkai), in the past. Ch. 3 Suimen no Kawasemi - [From T/N] Kawasemi/Kingfishers: beautiful, emerald winged birds. They live by mountains streams, waiting on tree branches or rocks, and dive into the stream to catch fish. Ch. 4 Bucchoudzura no Bunny/The Unsmiling Bunny - Funny episode of 4 men drinking at a pub: they had noticed that one of the waitresses that has already been working there for a year had never smiled once in front of the customers, so they think about strategies to make her laugh... -» Sweet ending scene~ (p. 26: reference to Tsuki no Usagi/Moon Rabbit from asian folklore https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_rabbit - https://owlcation.com/social-sciences/moon-rabbit) Ch. 5 Faraway Phan Thiet - A young boy finds out his crush (Older Female) is going back to Phan Thiet in Vietnam and asks his teacher about what kind of place it is... -» He'll probably fly to Phan Thiet not too far in the future, all grown-up and determined to find her! (๑•̀ㅂ•́)و✧ Ch. 6-7 Story Teller Story (Story: 01 Elisa; Story: 02 Nancy) - Two stories in which the protagonist somehow goes to find a certain Ed Hughes, a mysteryous storyteller who gives well-meaning advice on telling lies... -» In the second story, we can consider that as GL subtext, right? ♡ Anyway, I found both stories interesting. Ch. 8 Neko to Pancake - The story opens on a daily life scene of a widower preparing pancakes to eat while drinking coffee and reading the newspaper, but right when he's about to enjoy his meal, comes someone through the window and steals the pancakes! xD -» Heart-warming slice of life~

«✿✿» Uni student (19) x Middle-schooler (14, turning 15) // While going home from her part-time job, Suzune realizes she's being followed by someone...thankfully a young bishie helps her to get away from the stalker-like person. But who is the handsome boy? It turns out he's her cousin, Yuuma, whom she hasn't seen for 7 or 8 years. Now he looks like a completely different person, so Suzune didn't recognize him. Actually, their grandma appeared in Yuuma's dream and told him "You must protect Suzune", so that's why he came to her. Then, he asks if he can stay at her house for a while... ➸ To be honest, I wanted to read this story, because it's by Ikeno Koi, the creator of Tokimeki Tonight! And I was also curious, because compared to that story this has a so different setting...Well, I liked it! It's a pure, sweet, cute romance of "older female x younger male", which I'm a fan of and enjoy reading. Even though I'd have appreciated to see more of their relationship as grown up in the end, for a one-volume-story it's already fine like this, so I recommend it as a light reading. Also, it's from the early 2000s (2001), so the art still has that 90s vibe that I love! [Spoiler] About the cousins thing, it actually turns out it's not incest at all, as the bishounen is not the real cousin Yuuma, but his friend Junpei, who fell in love at first sight seeing Suzune's photo, so he decided to come in Yuuma's place, pretending to be him. Personally, I wouldn't have minded if it was really incest, as that was also a reason why I wanted to read this story, but it's not like I was disappointed, as I totally loved Junpei, cousin or not cousin, so I still liked the story! ➸ By the way, Junpei's father, famous actor Aikawa Sin, was hot!! Also, now I see why the "Misty Boy" title (¯∇¯٥)

What is more, he also got Chihara pregnant! >> Well, the aspect of a drunk older woman sleeping with a much younger guy and remaining pregnant would interest me as a serious topic, if it was portrayed in a mature, deep story, as I'd expect more obstacles and hardships for this type of unconventional couple...we're talking about a middle schooler and a much older woman, after all!! How can they just get married and be all happy just like that? There were so many things to take in consideration and think about at the beginning of their sudden relationship! The real crux of the matter was solved too quickly without a hitch! Taken lightly through comedy like this, it becomes just too much ridiculous for my tastes...I'm not saying it's that bad of a story, but I had other expectations, I guess. 4 Volumes (Complete)
