Ame No Mukou, Kimi To
Foreign Setting (France) // French Seme x Japanese Uke > There's a bit of a problem with the translation in the last chapters (4-6), which were translated by someone else, but the story itself is good! It was kinda unique with that art-style, setting and visuals. In any case, I'm still grateful I was able to read it and that someone completed it, instead of leaving it as dropped! (If someone fixes the translation in the future, I'll certainly want to re-read it though).
Hontou wa Suki na no ni
Musashino Rondo
This seems interesting and I'm also intrigued by the younger brother! Let's see how it will go!
Unexpected Disaster
Oneshot included in "Yasashii Keredo Ijiwaru de". > Painter x Scuba Instructor - I really liked the beginning, how the uke had to take responsibility for the destroyed paintings by nude-modeling. But once the seme's thoughts are revealed, how he saw the uke before, observed him and wanted him, the story loses its appeal. And the seme basically raped the uke! So, I didn't like the situation...
Prince Game (Kyeong-Ok Kang)
That's it?! Also, it seems that a chapter is missing here, but it doesn't really matter...the story was quite disappointing...
Please Save My Earth
Hiwatari Saki's masterpiece! A must-read classic! - An interesting, thought-provoking and beautiful story. One of those unforgettable ones! It's really a brilliantly written work. I was anticipating so much for all the elements to be finally put together, and, while keeping following the characters' inner thoughts and feelings and observing their reactions and growth, I felt the story had this powerful fascinating and mysterious vibe that got me so hooked...I so wanted to see what would happen next that I got so immersed in reading, while being so emotionally engaged as well! I loved it so much! Totally recommended! It's absolutely amazing. I really think it's one of the very best manga ever! > The OVA episodes were good too, but they cover only till volume 8 (Tankoubon), so they just end like that without a conclusion. 21 Volumes (Tankoubon - Complete) // 12 Volumes (Bunkoban - Complete) OVA (1993 // 6 episodes): gogoanime.run / category / boku-no-chikyuu-wo-mamotte > Special: youtube.com / watch?v=NGQEv7g8_xE - "The Passing of the Golden Age contains six music videos with footage not seen in the OVA and scenes taken from the manga, as well as a slightly different version of the OVA ending sequence, and the ending credits for the image videos." Related Series: 1) Boku no Chikyuu o Mamotte / Please Save My Earth --- Kioku Senmei - Vivid Memories II: Things accidently left behind (Side Story of 1 - It's about Mikuro) 2) Boku o Tsutsumu Tsuki no Hikari (Sequel to 1) 3) Boku wa Chikyuu to Utau - "Boku Chikyuu" Jiseidai Hen (Sequel to 2) (Not scanlated)
Ruriiro de Kimi wo Kazatte
I don't know...well, I was quite excited to read this, because it seemed my kind of story and at the beginning it really was. I liked the art style and I really liked the characters. I liked how they met and there was a good vibe / atmosphere going on. But then somehow it failed to captivate me. While I was curious to see how they would have gotten together, the development of their relationship and the dynamics of the story didn't impress me much then...I mean, it was a good story and I liked it, but I wasn't much satisfied. The first two chapters were really good and made me anticipating, but then with every other chapter ending and nothing much happening, my excitement faded. And just like that, it was already the ending of the story. Even the thing about the model not revealing his name, at first it made him kinda mysterious and interesting, but then we still didn't get to find out not even in the end and that was a bit weird. So, yeah, it left me wanting more... >> Note: it's Shounen Ai not Yaoi!!
