ו•× A sequel to Tokyo Mew Mew...was it really necessary? Oh well, I read it anyway. After all, there are only 2 volumes and so it doesn't take much time to read it. The plot is not worth mentioning, but the art was still nice and I found Berry so cute! In the prequel I didn't like the couple, Ichigo and Masaya, but in this sequel at least I liked Berry and Tasuku: such an adorable couple! Neighbors // Waiter x High-school Girl // Momo (16) & Yuki (28) // Time Skip in the final chapter ---> Momo (20) ≪•..•≫ This is one of those slice of life stories that are always nice to read! The art is very pleasant and I liked the gentle and pure touch of this heart-warming story. Actually, the focus of the story is on the personal issues of the characters. We see Yuki's past and his difficult family situation after her mother left, leaving him with the father, who then also abandoned him. Yuki, ex-delinquent who got into fights, even came to have suicidal thoughts...on the other hand, Momo also had some issues with her mother, always being afraid of her, but thanks to Yuki she was finally able to face her. Momo is a truly cute and honest girl: she was always following Yuki around, even when he wanted to put some distance, but it's exactly because she was there that he was able to stand, as he also said then...so I really appreciated her genuine feelings and how somehow they both helped each other to move on. Also, I love age gap, so I really enjoyed it (｡^‿^✿) Buuut, just saying, a little kiss wouldn't have hurt...!! Oh well, after seeing the last page, I felt satisfied either way...such a sweet scene! ;) >> Another story which gave me similar feelings while reading is this: Hana o Meshimase http://www.mangago.me/read-manga/hana_o_meshimase/ (In both stories there's age gap/issues with parents/second chances/female lead falling in love first...)
