Love That Cuts Deep
The mother is so cool! I really like her!
Hotarubi no Mori E
(()) Collection of stories: • Ch. 1 & 4.5 Into the Forest of Fireflies' Light (Hotaru no Mori E) (Summer story) - Beautiful sad story! Especially, the anime movie has great visuals and soundtrack! My only complaint is that somehow [SPOILER] Gin's death seemed so random and sudden (just because a random human boy was tripping and he grabbed him!) that I didn't have the time to properly feel the moment and actually cry...at the most it left me with a bittersweet, melancholic feeling! Having said that, it still remains a beautiful story with tragic ending! 5 Anime movie: available at kissanime • Ch. 2 Overhearing a Flower Song (Spring story) - School Life // Music 3 • Ch. 3 The Fallling of Autumn Leaves (Autumn story) - School Life // Childhood Friends 3 • Ch. 4 Deepening the Scar (Winter story) - School Life // Reunion // Siblings // Incest // Brother x Sister // Bittersweet 3 Note: Apart from the "Hotarubi no Mori e - Special Chapter" (Ch. 4.5), the reprint contains also two other additional new stories called "Taion no Kakera" and "Hoshi mo Mienai", which are not scanlated, it seems...

10 Volumes (Complete) - Dropped... Spin-off: Kare First Love
Kono Oto Tomare!
Adapted to Anime (Note: S2 ends at vol. 14 ch. 54 with minor scene from ch. 55)
Kokoro ga Sakebitagatterunda.
4 Volumes (Complete) - Dropped I guess... Based on the anime movie, which was adapted to live-action movie as well (anime available at Kissanime and live-action at Kissasian) When I watched the anime movie, I admit that at first I really expected and hoped for an other ending and I'm sure I'd have loved it! But you know it's not like I was utterly disappointed, because I think it was not that bad as ending after all...in a way it was more refreshing that it ended that way rather than the expected/predictable one. And things don't always go the way one hopes for, right? And anyway it was a story of friendship and personal growth (of each character actually, not only of Jun), so I really liked it and I think it's a great story regardless. Personally, I liked the live-action movie as well.
