Personally I don't mind about the ending. It's simply the characteristic way of how sensei finishes most of the stories and I actually think it was ok just like this. What I have to say though is that I wasn't much interested in the whole thing about Takahiro's father and Takahiro's fathercon. But overall I still really liked it! I enjoyed especially the first volume: I liked how the story began, with the American setting, the situation they found themselves in and everything else...it was interesting and exciting! Side Story of Junjou Romantica and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi - It's the story of Isaka (Akihiko's editor / Director of Marukawa Shoten) and his Childhood friend Asahina (Isaka's caretaker / secretary). > The first part chronologically happens before the related series around the time Akihiko was a high-school student about to debut as a writer. Isaka was 22 and Asahina 23. The second part happens after a 10-years time-skip, when they are 32 and 33 and Akihiko is already living with Misaki. Adapted to anime - Included in Junjou Romantica anime (S3 ep. 7, OVA 2) and Sekaiichi Hatsukoi anime (S2 ep. 6). And they also appreared here and there along the series, especially Isaka as he's Marukawa's director.

«★[☼]★» I totally loved this! The unique setting, the character, their first encounter and everything! It's just that I wish there was more...at the end, I really wanted to see more of them! In fact, I wanted to give it 5 stars and I thought it was going to be a masterpiece, but I gave it 4, because I think it needed another volume or so to be more complete and deep. I feel there was more to explore out there, many possibilities (and for example we don't know pretty much anything about Toto!)...it really had the potential to be a longer adventurous series! Anyway, I still appreciated this great story so much. As I like western-themed stories, I'd love to read more BL like this! # American Seme x Native-American Uke
