Tokyo Crazy Paradise
☚☛ Badass girl! One of my favourite female leads!! TBH I can't believe and it's such a pity that this great yakuza series doesn't have an anime adaptation!! Seriously, it needs to have one!
Gokusen
☚☛ MASTERPIECE in yakuza category! This is one of the first non-BL yakuza story I had read and I loved it! It's so cool and funny at the same time~♡
Tokyo Mew Mew a La Mode
ו•× A sequel to Tokyo Mew Mew...was it really necessary? Oh well, I read it anyway. After all, there are only 2 volumes and so it doesn't take much time to read it. The plot is not worth mentioning, but the art was still nice and I found Berry so cute! In the prequel I didn't like the couple, Ichigo and Masaya, but in this sequel at least I liked Berry and Tasuku: such an adorable couple! For me that's really the only thing that kinda satisfied me, but I think younger readers may appreciate this story more than I did. 2 Volumes (Complete) Magical Girls, Female Fighters, Animal Characteristics, Genetic Modification, Cafè, Waitresses, Secret Identity, Hypnotism, Manipulation, Childhood Friends, Male Lead Falls in Love First, Rushed Ending|Axed Prequel: Tokyo Mew Mew; Side-Story Sequel: Tokyo Mew Mew 2020 Re-Turn Related Series Timeline: 1) Tokyo Mew Mew 2) Tokyo Mew Mew à La Mode 3) Tokyo Mew Mew: 2020 Re-Turn
Shugo Chara
ו•× I really liked this manga! The shugo eggs and the shugo chara|guardian characters are so cute! (≧∀≦) I watched the anime years ago and I read the manga only now, but I still liked it! Imo it's a nice story to read at any age, for real! It's so cute and funny and Ikuto will always be a weakness of mine! (。♡‿♡。) I loved Amu and Ikuto, Utau and Kuukai (I love "Older Female Younger Male"), Nagihiko and Rima. Younger readers will certainly love this story and it may be inspiring especially for those who are in the growing phase. In fact, it was awarded the 2008 Kodansha Manga Award for best children's manga. ➸ Maybe the only thing that was a bit "weird" is that Amu is in elementary school while Ikuto is already in high school! If you think about it, that's a bit unusual...but, personally, it didn't bother me at all, because their relationship was so pure and they were so cute! Also, in the end they look so good as grown-up! 。^‿^。 12 Volumes (Complete) ➸ Vol. 12 ch. 49-52: side story - Shugo Chara! Dengeki Daisy
16 Volumes (Complete) (()) Janitor x High-school girl - "I'm just a normal school janitor" The thing is, Kurosaki Tasuku, apart from being hot as hell, is anything but a normal janitor! Hehe The plot is seriously amazing, I was totally hooked! There is this halo of mystery sorrounding the story which made me eager to read one chapter after another without stopping! It's such a great story, definitely Motomi Kyousuke's best one!
Kimi Wa Petto
Sumire (27), an independent, beautiful career woman who is smart, capable and successful in her work, is tired of feeling under-appreciated and disrespected. One day, while going home, she finds a box, outside her apartment, with a young man inside...she brings him into her house and somehow decides to keep him as a "pet", because he reminds her of her late dog! So, from now on, the young man (20) will be "Momo". I want to pat Momo's head too!! Seriously, this is one of the best josei I've ever read! I truly enjoyed reading it. Well, it's reeeally slow-paced but personally I didn't mind, as I love slow romance. Actually, I think even people who don't like that may appreciate this story and find it nice to read, because it's such a great slice of life josei, which, while being super funny, deals with important realistic issues that women may relate to, so I think it's interesting to read. Also, there's the theme of "Older Female Younger Male", which I totally love! ❖ Talking about the main characters, I really liked Sumire, as that's a type of female lead that I truly appreciate, but the one I loved the most is Momo|Takeshi! He's adorable and cool at the same time. He seriously made my heart skip a beat countless times while reading! Man, I want his love bite too ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄ ❖ Ahhh Momo and Sumire really look so good together! I loved how their relationship slowly developed from "master-pet" to lovers. I was anticipating so much the moment when Sumire-chan would finally realize she was in love with Momo! At ch. 49 I was already going crazy xD But, while waiting, I savored their every little moment, so I really enjoyed it even more, tasting little by little. Also, I really like how the author created a situation in which Momo apparently was the one depending on Sumire, who gave him a place to stay etc., when actually Sumire herself was the one depending on Momo, so much, so deeply, even without realizing it at first. So they complement one another and that's beautiful! ❖ I thought it was fate that Sumire would find Momo in a box in front of her apartment and pick him up...and it's a really amazing thing actually, because after knowing that they already had a chance encounter in the past (ch. 47 - and the countdown really began xD), I really thought they were truly fated to meet again sooner or later to be together! Like they said when they were talking about "En"...I think that was fascinating~♡ 14 Volumes (Complete) Live-action (Drama + Movie) :: Japanese Drama - 2003 :: (Matsumoto Jun ) :: Korean Movie - 2011 :: :: Japanese Drama - 2017 ::
Minus Ondo No Serenade
Shouta is so cuuute! With a combo of some of my weaknesses (older female + stepsibling love + cohabitation) I'm already hooked! I really like it and I'm looking forward to see how their relationship will develope.
