≪✿✿≫ A beautiful masterpiece! - Ahhh so many life lessons here! I really loved each and every word said in this story...it became so precious to me. I loved the characters together with all their thoughts and feelings, how the story was structured and its pace. It was so well-crafted...in every little detail, characters' small movements or little changes of expression there were so many emotions! If you pay attention to those details, the more that the story develops, the more that you realize how from the very beginning their every action and word were so meaningful (especially in Touma's case)! It made me really empathize with the characters and I was so invested in the reading that I really devoured it! This is the best kind of youth / coming of age story to read for me! And I also hope that at some point there will be an anime adaptation, because it's so worth it and I'd love to see it getting animated! P.S. I admit that in the end I wanted to see more of those years they skipped through the time skip. Because, before that, Taichi told Touma his feelings weren't the same but he liked being with him and wanted them to stay best friends, but in the last chapter it's implied that, after he broke up with Futaba, he eventually chose Touma. They even got married, as we can see from the ring and also from Touma signing as Ichinose at Futaba's wedding (meaning that he took Taichi's surname), and they went to live together. Of course I'm so glad they ended up together and I actually liked the way the last chapter was done, but it's just that I wanted to see a bit more, especially the moment Taichi decided to be with Touma. But yeah, that was just me being a bit greedy...the story is truly great as it is!

The male lead is gay but he gets hard for the female lead, whom he mistook for a guy.

The One Manhua

Complete | lee nicky | 2006 released

She will definitely be able to become "The One"! Yeah, Cane Lele has all the requirements to become a top model. Reluctant towards showbiz, she begins to see modeling in a different light after she saw a photo shoot of popular model Angus Lanson. Lele is now determined to become the number one and maybe find love, so she starts her adventure, but it's not so easy; she's a beautiful and strong-willed woman, but many difficulties await for her...It's not a simple showbiz story, but a complicated love story with psychological and mature issues too. Along the story we get to know also other interesting characters that contribute well to the development of the plot and are part of it (btw I couldn't not notice the resemblance of Angi to Andreja Pejic, so I was really intersted in this character). In conclusion, it would be amazing if this manhua was to be adapted into an anime or live-action!!

Hare no Hi (ASADA Nemui)

Paros no Ken

Complete | kurimoto kaoru | 2000 released

Great story by Kurimoto Kaoru! Interesting plot and setting, embellished by Igarashi Yumiko's beautiful art, which was perfect for this historical-fantasy manga! It's a pity though that the ending was a bit unsatisfying, because it didn't give a proper conclusion / resolution to the story. By ending just like that, one wants to know what happened after. Instead, it's left to us to imagine what became of them. I wish it had a different, better ending, but I still loved the story! Anyways, being a fantasy tale, that kind of ending is actually not that unusual... > Note: It's not GL! Erminia, the "princess", clearly says that their heart was misplaced in the body of a woman and that they would prefer to take a bride instead of a husband, and to be looked upon as a man by the people. The story shares the same universe as "Guin Saga". Both stories are set in the Kingdom of Paros.
